I am assuming you are playing through this game a second time after having beaten it already once right ??

Yeah, the best way to defeat bongo bongo is with the hookshot and arrows. Also stay a good distance from the very edge of the platform, even though the bouncing effect is less the further away you are from him, the closer to the edge means the easier it is for him to just knock you off.

I found Bongo Bongo one of the easiest bosses in the game, especially on later playthroughs. I use arrows to stun one hand (you can Z target it) then the second hand will attack you, but you have enough time to shoot that with an arrow before it hits you. With both hands stunned it will dash towards you. Activate lens of truth (or you could keep it activated throughout the battle) get an arrow ready, wait for it to get very close. Release your arrow, and then slaughter the eye with your sword. Since you're already very close you can deal a lot of damage. I think you can beat him with two or three stuns.

He was hard my first play thru. I died like 6 times. After I got used to it, he's pretty easy. Also after he is stunned, I change really quickly to the Biggoron Sword to deal mucho damage.

I learned that if you get frustrated during a LoZ game take a break try again later or you will get mad and brake something like a lamp controller or something, besides when you get stuff off your mind it's alot easyer.

If you do not have the sword, however, the hammer does do a nice amount of damage too.

I find him not VERY difficult, but yes he is difficult. He is powerful, but you need to keep yourself from falling off the drum. I find Gohdan from WW, who is extremely simular, harder. He shot these magma laser things!!!! Bongo Bingo's most annoying attack is when he rams into you. With a well timed arrow shot it's easy though.

EDIT:Bongo Bingo???
