Mine's definately Link's Awakening. The gameplay and level design were all perfect and truely creative, with plenty of little secrets waiting to be found if you dig a little deeper. I really enjoyed the whole dreams vs. reality theme and the story flowed along quite nicely with the rest of the game. It's whimsical. Majora's mask is a close second. I guess I'm a sucker for these "side adventure" type games. NPC development is a big plus for me, which is probably another reason why I liked both games. ![]() |

I'm sorry that is the best Zelda game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, I love Majora's Mask as well, especially since it has a whole new plot. Also, it is more realistic, so I like that part too. And besides, Anju and Kafei are SUCH a cute couple!!! ![]() ![]() |

I'm completely in love with the environments of LttP, but Link's Awakening has the most entertaining gameplay out of probably any Zelda game. Well, and FSA was just effing badassed - running around with 2 or 3 people, burning everything in sight = own. I'm absurdly entertained by just mowing through the ridiculous amounts of enemies. ![]() |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | 1. Oracle of Ages/Seasons Two interesting stories intertwined. Everything I loved about the old Zeldas mixed together with added new twists. 2. Link to the Past This was my number 1 for the longest time but I've played it so many times it's starting to lose its replay value. 3. Ocarina of Time Am I the only one who noticed that this is basically a remake of Link to the Past? The structure is exactly the same! 4. Majora's Mask Highly underrated. The Bombers were a fun addition. I probably spent more time helping townspeople than I did in the dungeons. 5. Minish Cap I wasn't expecting this game to be very good, but after completing the first dungeon, I was addicted. 6. Link's Awakening I cheated my way through this game using the bug warp. In fact, I did it so much I was never able to complete the game because the instrument in the eight temple simple doesn't exist on my copy. 7. Legend of Zelda I would probably like this game more if my NES functioned properly. 8. Adventure of Link Just not a great game... didn't like the fighting style. I still haven't played Wind Waker or Four Swords. Last edited by Bomby; 08-09-2006 at 01:52 PM. |
