Question OOT... or MM?

Which do you prefer, Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask? I love them both pretty much the same... And please, no screaming at each other or calling anybody stupid. Respect other people's opinions and state your own. No put-downs!

OoT is so much better, in many ways. OoT took years to make, while Majoras Mask was supossed to be made in a year, dont get me wrong for only a year Eiji Aunama did a great job, and i expect him to make TP a hit. OoT was bigger and harder. In OoT you get to ride Epona longer than MM. partly in MM you think Epona is dead T_T, luckaly she aint. OoT has a better shield, i mean seriously whats the deal with the shield in MM, the disign looks stupid. But one thing i really like about MM is the mask, I love being a Zora or Goron, or evan a shrub.

EIJI AUNAMA RULES, and if you dont know who he is look him up.

OoT is great for the storyline and the music...but for sheer entertainment value, I like MM for all those crazy sidequests.

MM has sooo much original gameplay and I loved the NPCs.

OoT's downfall for me was that it just borrowed too much from LttP and LA in the puzzle department. Even the first time through, I felt like I'd played the game before, and the jump to 3-d just wasn't enough for me.

Where as, MM kept me guessing the whole way through. The game starts out strange and then just gets stranger, which is a big plus for me.

Disclaimer: I still like OoT, it's just not my favorite.

OoT. MM was good, but it just wasn't a ground breaking game IMO. I didn't like the 3-Day System (even though I never had trouble with it). The one thing I did enjoy more than OoT though were the sidequests like the Bombers Notebook.

Wait, the Hero's Shield is WAYYYYYYY hotter than the Hylain and Kokiri Shield. The Mirror Shield is another thing. The swords in MM are better than in OOT. Hell yea.
MM is much more interactive. I think MM is better in every way, except it's a tiny bit shorter, and the downside of not turning into an adult. Except Oni Link is incredible. Not as cool, (to me) but a great and strong, powerful thing nonetheless.

In short, I like MM more, but very slightly. TERMINA FIELD MUSIC ROXXORS YOUR BOXXORS! DEKU PALACE MUSIC IS GOOD! GO SONG OF HEALING!AND ALL SONGS ON OCARINA!! HAHAHA!!
Sorry about that, but the music is better than in OOT, except Gerudo Valley and Requiem of Spirit.

OoT was playable. Majora's Mask is too irritating to bother with, considering all the machinations of time. That, and whoever put together the map/town really had no concept of ease of access. It just kind of took everything I dislike about OoT, and made it the theme of the game.

Hey, I even managed to like Minish Cap in some bizarre fashion. There's no room left in my heart for an OoT spinoff.

Maybe if they'd thought about something like.. trees. Well, then you might have my attention.

There are far more real trees in MM than in OoT.

I don't see what your obssession with trees is. They didn't look that great in LttP, and they were non-existant in LoZ.

Definitley OOT, though I was angry I never got to get my hands on the special "golden cartridge" version.
I thought OOT was better cause you could be grown up and stuff and the whole "Master Sword time travel" thing made it remind me of the "sword in the stone" medievel mythology.
Though MM had its good points too, it was definitley a good game. The secret Fierce Deity's Mask, the whole apocalyptic feel with the moon, and a change in the main bad guy besides Ganon.
But OOT felt way more epic.

I don't know what your obsession with breathing is.

They looked great in LttP, and the original LoZ had like 2 tiles. I require a forest. I dislike the maybe 4 canyons they tried to make worth an entire game in OoT. Perhaps that is irrelevant to you. Regardless, MM actually just put a tree texture map on the solid freaking wall. Not even OoT did something that lame. And I don't know if you actually played OoT, but they had a few gatherings of very young woods in "Hyrule Field" that didn't happen to exist in MM.

Another extremely lame response from AI. Actually, I'm pleasantly suprised you didn't just went and called me too dutch.

I forgot about the trees in Hyrule Field for a moment. It's not a part of the map you need to be very often, only when hunting big poes. But you're right, there are quite a few trees in OoT, maybe even more than in MM. It's just that you complained about the lack of trees so often that I thought there were none in the game, except for the Deku Tree.

Also on the road to the southern swamp where the Deku village there is a similar small forest with many individiual trees. I also think there are some on the road to Snowhead, and I think there's even some palms on the beach and dead treas in Ikana Valley.

While I'm mentally going through the map I just realised that at Romani ranch there's probably the same amount of trees as Hyrule Field has.

In my humble opiniun every tree in those two games resemble a tree better than the big green circles of LttP.

Trees don't mean I had a dog once.I had a dog once.I had a dog once.I had a dog once. in Zelda, so let's stop talking about pixels in a freaking game.

Oh, and for the record, Majora's Mask.

Trees mean a lot to me in a fantasy game. Besides, Koga, any response I give you is going to be "lame", because you don't have the same tastes as I do. I could go on and on about the plot being restrictive, or how much I dislike the characters. Why should I? I'm apparently not allowed to dislike anything, anyway. Everytime I mention it, you harp in about how I don't like anything. Like my reasons some how have to be "good enough" for you.
