I think I remember that. Does anyone have a shot of it? If it's a warped humanoid-looking tree, that does bring to mind the whole people-turned tree aspect of the Dark World in LttP.

Here, I dug this up for you.

Hmm, the tree creature does seem to be attatched to the ground, doesn't it?
It's kinda funny. When I first saw this I thought it looked nice, but the new screen shots completely blow away all of the earlier ones.

I would like nintendo to actually give us a freakin release date instead of leaving us like sitting ducks.

If ganon or ganondorf is not in this game I will tie a brick to my neck and drown myself, not joking.

The past 3 or 4 years it has been this vaati crap.

I don't know, I'm always up for a new villain. If they can actually come up with a good one, that is. But I have a feeling old Ganon will make an appearance. They've stated that it's coming out on the same day as the Wii, so that's probably why they're waiting. They don't want to give away the system launch just yet. I think they're waiting for Sony to make the first move. I remember hearing a long time ago that they planned to release their new system one or two weeks before the PS3. So I'm betting as soon as we hear a solid date for the PS3, we'll get one for the Wii, too.

I can't "confirm" it, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Nintendo had stated Ganon would be the game's main villain.

That looks more like a stone statue with vines/moss on it to me.

First thing I thought of when I saw it was the weird monster in this picture:

I believe this is going to win the award for the most freakiest and most
weirdest zelda game yet.

Anyone agree?

You shouldn't use most and the suffix 'est' in conjunction with one another - they both mean the same thing.

I think the weirdest Zelda game will remain Link's Awakening, and rightly so.

Agreed with both statements.

I mean, come on, when Link has memories of more than just the usual Mario Series cameos, something's up.(the Nightmares had way too many memory appearences, and also helped place it in storyline)

From what I remember, is that Ganondorf will appear and will play a role, but isn't the main villian. Might've read it in NP or something.

Well if Ganon is in it then I will not kill myself.
