SO HOW ABOUT THAT TWILIGHT PRINCESS

So, more and more word on Twilight Princess has been coming down the pipeline.

Apparently the game is actually as big as all the Nintendo reps said it was. That's certainly nice. I'd hate for our expectations to be built up and come crashing down in a glorious shower of lame.

Also, according to everywhere I look, the Wiimote controls for the game make the more traditional controls feel archaic and stupid. Go figure. I like that, though, it makes me feel good, that the whole decision didn't end up being just a gimmick to move more Wiis.

Two weeks? I'm practically going nuts over here. I mean, it even makes me come back to this place.

What do you people think?

I have a fine-ass woman who is helping me buy the Wii in the first place.

Score!

That would be stinging if I weren't the one not getting a Wii and Twilight Princess at launch.

I'll get it and the Wii after/for Christmas or something, unless it won't be THAT hard to get a Wii at around launch...

I hope it's hard and long, and will last for more then a week.

I think I'll be able to stomach the 'archaic and stupid' GCN control system, inasmuch as the alternative is buying a goddamn Wii.

Looks like I'll be waiting for the GC release, since getting a replacement computer comes first before the Wii. Not that I mind.

While I'm looking forward to it, it's not that I can't wait any longer. I lost interest in games over the past few years (in fact, I think I last bought a game about a year ago), and I hope that this game can respawn my interest, if only for a little while. I think this game will either get me into gaming again, or be the final game I'll ever seriously play.

I'll be getting my copy bright and early. And that's bright in that the game is shiny and such and early as in before most of you.

A week is so long a time to wait. Maybe I should freeze myself a la Cartman. Oh wait, I have to work next week. Dangit!
