| Godly Member | aint it wierd though? They had cameos of several people from other games such as Prince Richard and Mr.White! But perhaps more useless than the wind fish himself would have to be The Owl. |

| Godly Member | I'm confused now...link isn't dreaming and the wind fish is not a part of a dream. It is just the Wind Fish's dream right? So the wind fish does exist...yet he's completely useless. But the fact that it is the wind fish's dream and that mr.white, wart, princess peach, mario lookalikes, prince richard, and bow wow are in there could explain the fact that the wind fish likes to play super nintendo a lot. What a useless loser for dreaming about video game characters!!!! |

.....you sadden me. D: But allow to try and explain. Koholnit is, completely and for sure, a dream. It did not exist in the real world. It isn't known whether or not the Windfish exists. Koholnit was either Link's dream, or Link and the Windfishes dream. In the latter case, the Windfish does exist, and it didn't do anything because it needed help, and Link needed to help it to wake up. That was the point. As for everything else you just said, I hate you. | |

What I want to know is, if Link's ship ran aground and he's unconscious and he's somehow stumbled into the Wind Fish's dream and Koholint isn't real *gasp*, then where did Link's ship crash? |

He's become part of the Windfish's dream, or he dreamed up the Windfish, and waking up the Windfish is a metaphor for him surviving the shipwreck. If he can wake the Windfish, then he wakes up in real life. |

I guess I'll have to replay LA, AGAIN.... Darn. |

Gender: Posts: 355 Thanks: 56 Thanked 47 Times in 42 Posts | ^^As soon as the Wii's virtual console gets underway I'm going to do that. I've played Link's Awakening through two or three times, but it's been a couple of years since I've played it last. Next to TP and OoT, LA (alphabet soup...) is probably my favorite Zelda title. I'll start playing the GBA version at odd moments and see if that jogs my memory. |
