Do you have a favorite? Do you wish they would've included a particular enemy that they didn't? I really loved all the little trolls and such, but it's easy for me to pick a few favorites; The iron knuckles were just awesome, and pretty tough to fight. The helmasaurs were a perfect and very unexpected redesign. I also really liked the huge 'moblin' orc guy who keeps showing up again and again, more and more haggard from his continuing defeats. I really would love to see more backstory for him. |

(I think I lost 15 hearts to them... thank you, Miss Fairy...) However, the best boss was the boss from the Arbiter's Grounds. Twilit whatever the hell it was called. |

As far as "regular" enemies go I'd have to say the Darknuts were my favorite. It's kind of ironic since I loathe Darknuts in the original LoZ, and in TP they're my favorite enemies. |

Traditionally, the difference between the two is that the Iron knuckles are living suits of armor, where as the Darknuts are actually creatures. Also, Darknuts must be struck from behind, while Iron knuckles can be damaged anywhere if you can get past their defenses. Eitherway, they're fairly similar. Btw, I also liked the little runners in south hyrule field that would drop those little ball/bomb things. It's too bad that was the only place they were used. ![]() |

And....a lot, actually, like when you fight Nabooru in OoT. And, just like in there, it pissed them off very badly and makes them more dangerous. You actually fight three of them simultaneously in the Cave of Ordeals. |

Truth be told, there's very little difference between a Darknut and an Iron Knuckles to begin with.

Mistakes are made in them. Strategy guides are about as cannon as fanfiction. They're Iron Knuckles: there's nothing inside of the armor that we can see. They're literally living armor. Yes, they use swords, but they're still pretty apparently Iron Knuckles. |

As far as I care, the two exist in a Fight Club fashion where they've never both appeared in the same game. There's heavy similarities between both of them, there's no standard definition for what defines one versus what defines the other, and Twilight doesn't specify what the things are called in game. As far as I care, Iron Knuckle and Darknut are effectively synonyms.

Also, ...Um. Darknuts and Iron Knuckles are two different enemies in the game. And my question wasn't answered.

Though I don't remember what the Iron Knuckle boss in AoL looked like, the rest which are referred to as Iron Knuckles have always used giant axes. I don't care though. The big dudes with lots of armor suffices for me. |

(1) Which game had both? (2) What is the difference between them?

Trying to define a creature based on the weapon it carries seems asinine. :P I'm going with Cravdraa here, the only 'Darknut' in thisg ame is the one wielding the ball and chain.
