Misc. people have always looked strange in the Zelda series. The only that bothered me is that I wish Link looked a little better. They shape was a bit odd. But I got used to it. And Link more than made up fpor his weird looks with his awesome sword moves. I just kept pressing A and he automatically made all these different cool combos and junk. I never got bored! I felt like I was in a Jackie Chan movie or something! |

These days, people can puke on a canvas and call it "true art". If we think it looks childish, then so what? True art is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you like it doesn't mean the world likes it and people like us are the odd ones. Okay? Good. Boy, am I sick of making that corny speech! ![]() [ May 29, 2003, 05:48 PM: Message edited by: Princess Zelda of Hyrule: God Bless ] |

Lots of people predicted that I'd be sorry for being so ticked off about the new graphics when I played the game. But now that I've played it enough to get a feel for it, I'm sorry, but not for what I said before...I'm sorry that such a great game on such a great system doesn't have the graphics it deserves. Everyone in my family who has watched me play WW agrees that the graphics leave something to be desired, especially when compared to OoT. Now, I wouldn't say they suck, or that they're unartistic, but I think they're inappropriate for this particular type of game. They would have been perfect for Kirby or Mario, but Zelda needs something different. Graphics are supposed to help tell the story, and this new look Nintendo has gone with for Zelda just isn't convincing to me. You may see it differently, but to me, it's like playing the Barney theme song during the Romeo and Juliet death scene.
