Link's new look was unconventional perhaps, but it grew on me after time and by the end of the game I was loving it.

i don't care about whether or not something's conventional or unconventional.. i just didn't like that link. i've seen many incarnations, but this one wasn't as well executed.. but, all in my opinion, of course..

I agree, the graphics grow on you...but, sorry to say, the first time I saw Zelda in this game I just burst out laughing, it was the light of my day! Just that...bug head....pathetically puny body...Brittany Spears stomach...heavy make-up...::clutches stomach:: Can you blame me?
The storyline overall, munching at loose ends of Ocarina of Time, made it a better game. I'll admit that I wasn't going to buy the game at first because of the style. But when i saw a couple reviews and played it for myself at GameFreak, couldn't help but love the game after only playing for two and a half minutes...

No, the third minute I was forced to leave GameFreak because I'd played too long. But I came back and bought it and I think I'm going to beat the game on Monday. Would have beaten it yesterday but I don't have Gamecube where I stay on the weekends.

The same thing could be said about Spirited Away, and that won a stinkin' Oscar.

It's anime, folks. It's gonna look kinda stupid no matter what, so you might as well make it enjoyable and cool, which is what Ninty did.

Oh, and:

I'm a big fan of well executed anime. Like Ghost in the Shell or Akira. That stuff didn't look stupid. This game made me think more of disney..
