Notice the word Hylia, not Hyrule. Again he is talking about the Ancient Hylians and the Wise Men, or as Rayru the Light Sage called then in OoT, The Ancient Sages!

Maybe not, well the second bolded part proves that it was not OoT that took place generations ago. Many soldiers died to buy the Wise Men time to cast their seal. Well I certainly didn't see any soldiers buying the Sages TIME. I only saw Link hacking Ganon down to nothing so that the Sages could TAKE OVER and seal him in the VOID OF THE EVIL REALM, which is not to be confused with the Sacred Realm or Dark World.

I don't know what this whole Wise Man seal and Temple of Light thing is about. I do know the Sages seal was created long before OoT to keep people from entering the Sacred Realm. And I'm pretty sure the Temple of Time was created to guard that seal. As for the Temple of Light it's just a building in the center of of the Sacred realm. Actually, to say it was a building would be incorrect. It's more of a structure made of pure energy. The seal had been created prior to ooT by ancient sages. But the temple itself I believe existed since the dawn of time and was perhaps created by the Goddeses themselves. No where in OoT I believe does that sages created the Temple of Light. I think you're confusing the Temple of Light with the Temple of Time which we know that Rauru built at least. The Temple of Time is connected to the Temple of Light but so are the other temples. They're not the same thing. So that Sages Seal created by Ancient Sages, Temple of Time built by Rauru, amnd the Temple of Light which probably existed since the dawn of time. That's three different things created by three different means.

Tell me again why this is even an issue here?

Well if the LttP intro is talking about the Wise Men's seal and not the Sages Seal of OoT, then it means that the Imprisioning War(IW) was long before OoT, the time when Link was born.

Since LttP says that generations pass between the IW and LttP it also means that there are generations between the IW and OoT. And if that is the case it means OoT and LttP can be a few years apart. And that means Link can live through OoT and LttP and only be about 18 at the end of it all.

Do you understand?
