The Sages Seal and Wise Men's Seal is the same thing from what I understood. In OOT, the current Sages did not create a seal. They merely reclosed the one already created by the former sages.

Two things tell us that they are not the same. One, in LttP the King commanded the Wise Men to seal the Sacred Realm off from the Light World. In OoT Zelda and Rayru give the word to seal Ganondorf in the Void of the Evil Realm. A void mind you, not a world.

Second is Rayru's mention of the Temple of Light. He said it was created long ago to deter outsiders from entering the Sacred Realm. He mentioned this BEFORE all the Sages were awake, and casted their own seal.

This proves that the Temple of Light was the Wise Men's seal and the seal on Ganondorf was the Sages seal. Two different seals by two different groups of people.

Get a nightlife.

This is how I see it. I think of all the temples as computers and the Temple of Light is some sort of super computer or mainframe the connects as the computers together. Lets say he left his computer on while he was still logged in, Ganondoref was able to log in into the mainframe because Link had already put the password in and left the mainframe open and vulnerable. Okay, if we're going to get technical here: It's the VAULT DOOR that sseals up the money. The bank is the building were the money is kept. You're confusing a lock with a building.

Okay Mikey. Whatever you say. locks and seals aside I think I've got it figured out this time. The events of ooT's dark future did not take place in Dark Land like I previously thought. They actually happened in the real Hyrule. When Link was sent back to his original time, the timeline didn't split. But the seven years in which Ganon ruled was indeed erased. But this does not mean the future of ooT was erased either. Nor does it mean WW was canceled out from existing. To understand what i mean, you need to understand how time actually works in hyrule. Link goes into the past, plants a seed, returns to the future and finds a hover plant in it's place. The future was never erased. It's history was merely rewrittened. When Zelda sent Link back to the past for the last time, he was sent to the exact moment after Ganon had entered the sacred realm, but before he exited, thus sealing him up inside. This changed changed things in the future as if the seven years of Ganondorf's rule never existed. The castle sudenly appeared from the ruins of Ganon's fortress. Hyrule Castle Town turned back into it's busy, bustling self. As he placed down the sword, the road between future and past was closed pernamently and history was rewritten for the last time. Zelda still remembered those horrid seven years of darkness. Yet she still remembered saying goodbye to Link as he went off on a personal journey as well. Which explains the reference to MM's prologue. Sounds confusing? Watch Frequency then. It gives a very example of what I'm talking about here.
