I've also written a screenplay for The Legend of Zelda but I'm not going to do anything with it until I finish my Metroid screenplay. The producers who made American Pie and Final Destination have gotten the rights to make a Metroid movie and are looking for writers, actors, and directors. If they like my Metroid screenplay I'll have an easier time pitching my Zelda movie. I personally feel that the movie will have to made in real life. The monsters should be CGIs and there should me some 'Matrix' type of special effects. Don't try to say that movies based on video games don't work because there a few good movies based on games that did well in the Box Office. A cartoon movie can always be made even if a 'live action' movie is released. It would feature a different Link and could be anime or look like the Cell-shaded Link. |

Sure, there may be some great scripts written out there, but when games start to spread to other media besides games, what you get is something similar to Pokemania. I don't want that happening to my precious Zelda. |

At most it could manage a underground cult following. IF it's lucky. The other thing is that it could work out. Too well. And as PZoH had stated so nicely, it would become something likre pokemania. They'd soon be Zelda cards and season safter season of cartoon series that are much to well developed for children audiences but to cutesy for more adult audiences. The next thing you know, you have people suing Burger King come some kid choked on Ganondorf. The third that can happen only comes very rarely. When video game actually makes a smooth transistion on the silver screen. This happens once in a blue moon. I'm sure Resident Evil is a good example of this but still others argue there's no such video game movie that exists. Yet anyways. But of course it's always a fun idea to think about every now and then. |

This would be best written by a gamer or Ninty employee. --Sadly, no one in Hollywood would trust those people to write the script. B) Good director. Someone who is gonna stay true to the material and not try to over-apply their 'visions'. --That type of director is in short supply nowadays. C) Good cast. People who kinda look like the characters, and that actually act well. --That actually might happen. Recent adaptated films have been doing extremely well as far as casting. So, while a good Zelda movie is certainly possible, it's not likely. At least not with the condition Hollywood is under currently. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

The stakes are just too high. Once the movie comes out, and it's bad, the popularity of the whole thing is wrecked, and there goes Nintendo. I'm not willing to risk it. In order to stop that movie from being made, I'd make the ultimate sacrifice. I'd be willing to strap a bomb to Mike Peters. |
