Er, no, the Final Fantasy series isn't based off anime. There have been several animes based off of the series but no animes have been the basis for any of the Final Fantasy games. Just becuase the art is the way it is, doesn't mean it's based on anime and besides, you can't base a game on an art style as you seem to've worded things. You can only base a game on a particular anime series.

And there's not a single series the games have been based off of.

On a Zelda related note, that's a pretty wacky fake story there and very amusing considering how it certainly reflects the views of graphic junkies who care only for the graphics. There's nothing wrong with loving realistic graphics, etc if you want great gameplay to back it up, but if you're just out for the graphics you may as well be watching a movie with the graphics you want.

The Donkey Kong picture was great, as was the thing about Shiggy reading posts of people that t@lk l1k3 th15 and changing his mind. Most of that was pretty stupid though. I can't imagine many people don't care about gameplay at all.
