1. Where is he?

2. Do I have to do something special (like beat the Tower of Gods) in order for him to appear?

He's in Tornados. You need arrows (from the Temple of the Gods) to do anything interesting with him, but you can find him any time you can find tornadoes.

There are tornadoes between Tingle Island and the Tower of the Gods.

To make things simpler here's what you do after your second Forsaken Fortress visit go to F3 or C4 on the map.When you go there there will be a huge tornado when you get close enough to it you should be able to see Cyclos.Shoot him with arrows.He will come out of the tornado after you hit him abot three times maybe more.Then he will teach you the Ballad of the Gales.

So you can only do this after the Forsaken Fortress?

I saw a tornado near Mother and Child Isles. Can he be found in that one?

It's a big tornado. It's bigger than all the rest. And it tires to suck you up. When you get somewhat close to it, Cyclos will pop out in a mini cut-scene thingy so you'll know if you have the right one.

And to take a pic of him, you have to get sucked up?

I think you might be able to pull it off if you're quick, but I would recommend getting sucked in anyway so instead of rushing you could take a good pic or two. You don't need his face (he accepted just the purple cloud for me). After you hit him (I think 3 times?) he gives you the Ballad of Gales, which is a relief, not AS much sailing!

Well I never tried it before the second Forsaken Fortress visit and my player's guide says to go there after the second visit so yes.No I don't think he's in a tornado over there.Go to F3 or C4 and look for him.Oh do you know where F3 is?It's the space just below Windfall Island on the map.

I don't know if you need to bea the Forsaken Fortress....as long as you have the Bow and Arrows. I'm not sure though.

You don't need to beat the fortress at all.

Just get the arrows.

Oh, and it's a one time thing, taking his picture. Take it before you kill him.

Thanks for all your help, guys.

Yes, I've found that it's possible to get his pic and then shoot at him, but it's extremely difficult. Here's my story: I found his cloud by Northern Triangle Island, got the pic, and beat him. I took the pic to Carlov by warping, but he didn't accept it. Thank God I didn't save. So I reset and tried it again. This time, I got a close-up pic, but I got teleported. The Lord must have found my favor, because I was landed on Dragon Roost Island, and not somewhere way out there like Gyorg City Angular Isles. So I went down to Forest Haven, showed Carlov the pic, and he accepted it. The cloud in the pic had a little bit of Cyclos' head hanging over it, and it was a close-up shot. Then I went back to Cyclos and beat him for my second time.

Oh, my gosh! The Ballad of Gales is a relief!

Now I just have to finish up the Tower of God.

I thought it was originally supposed to be God's Tower. I bet they changed it to avoid religious contreversy. Again. Well! My second rant of the day is over. I need to save up for tommorow. Yup!
