I've been visiting this place a lot lately, and it's been really quiet. Or is it just me? The first time I came here in '01, this place was really commotive, a lot of shipper topics, various other arguments that have been debated over tenfold.
So, is it just me visiting too often, or is everyone just leaving VGF Zelda Forum in the dust? I don't mean this in any offencive ways. This is a great forum.

Yeah, back then VGF was much more active, and the Zelda forum was one of if not the most active of all. I can remember times when it had 16 pages, now it barely has 2.

It starts buzzing around spring and summer. Just wait. I came on May 28, 2002, and I remember a lot of MLT vs. SLT and Shipper debates. The last time I tried to revive this forum with a shipper debate, it got locked. I'll try again.

I think, therfore I am... LinkManDX

Yea it had two pages of totally active topics and about 18 pages of topics in the last thirty days or so. It was pretty fun. But everyone moves on and goes elsewhere. I frequent a few different boards a LOT more than this one these days. Of course it doesn't help when Nintendoland, and VGF (for the most part) are dead.

What we need are a few guinea pigs to bring to the forum fresh blood, particularly those within the circle of friends of the previously aforementioned guinea pigs...

The place is dead because people (other than me) stopped evangelising. The only way for people to find this place is if the intiated tell 'em about it. Spread the word, chilluns! Tell your friends! Tell your neighbours! Hell, even tell your friends' neighbours and neighbours' friends, if you want. I wouldn't have found this place if I hadn't been told about it by...wait, I wandered in here one day from SMBHQ.

But still.

I know the reason why it's so dead around here but I don't want to be banned like he was. LOL! J/K. Actually I think since Wind Waker proved that there's more than one Link, that pretty much killed off the MLT/SLT debates which severely reduced much of topics here. Now all the only thing around here, personally I think, is PZOH's add-ons. But sadly, I work so much that I don't have any time to participate. *sigh* I mish her.

*scratches head* I was thinking of doing something like the Imprisoning War again (maybe something right after the events of OOT, or whatever)... what say you all? ^_^

I'd better duck from thrown objects quick, but I think the reason why this forum has gotten so "quiet" is because all the regulars are...well, growing up.

Those were the days when SLT could still semi-reasonably hold it's own and Nappy made excellent topics such as.. Who is sexier Mick Jagger or Link? good times.

The solution for that is... the newer people have to step up to the challenge of time. I try my best do that.

</font>
Aw... I remember when I was a newbie. We posted weird junk back then. We had sleep overs and party topics and weird-ass add-ons with zany plots that switched wherever way the wind blew. I rember the regulars always being so stuck and serious. They looked down on us like we were some kind of pests. But we didn't care! We just wanted to have fun. Times were simpler back then. Now I'm a stuck up, serious regular looking down upon the newbies. WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!?
