Your favorite moment.

out of EVERY Zelda game you've EVER played, what was your favorite moment in them? This could be a cutscene you really liked, a favorite boss battle, a temple you really liked... anything!!!

This decision was very hard, but I finally decided on Anju and Kafei's sidequest in MM.

I liked this because

a) you didn't have to worry about beating a boss/temple in the 3-day limit, so I didn't get all jumpy. The time limits were easy to make. I HATE pressure, and this sidequest had little.
b) it was FUN. Tracking down Sakon and infiltrating his hideout was pretty awesome, and I loved the puzzle in his hideout. Yes, it was definitely timed, but it stretched my brain a bit.
c) you have to admit, the reunition scene b/t Anju and Kafei was adorable!

...so that's my favorite moment. you?

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me, Miss CL.

Off the top of my head, the time when Link learns Bolero of Fire in OoT. Nicely cut.

Pwning Ganondorf in the skull with a sword at the end of Wind Waker, and watching the epic ending. I don't give a damn what you people thought of the graphics or the game, I absolutely loved it.

Also, almost all of OoT was great. My favorite OoT moments are almost anything, but I loved it when the baby deku tree popped up and scared the hell out of Link.

In MM, I liked the scene with the giants near the end. Those guys had such a deep communication without even having to say anything other than indistinguishable moans.

I loved the final boss battle in Wind Waker, especially when you let the camera roam free with the C-Stick. The shots of Zelda and Link on either side of Ganondorf teaming up were just fantastic, and that was a great final boss battle.

I wouldn't call it my favorite moment though. That honor would probably go to the Stone Tower in Majora's Mask...the whole thing. My one favorite moment then would have to be when you flip it for the first time.

My favorite place in any Zelda game would have to be under the bridge in LttP, but there wasn't really a great moment down there. It was just cool.

When I caused a flock of Cuckoos to start attacking me in OoT. They knocked me down the well when I was still Kid Link. Then wouldn't let me back out.

I loved it. Bring back Cuckoo Attacks, Nintendo!

Twinrova's fight in Ocarina of Time, by far. Also, the last Floormaster room in the Shadow Temple. Scared the living hell out of me.

Ah, cuccos. My favorite moment... I dunno, really. I had a lot of cucco-related moments.
I remember that in OoA and OoS the quantity and speed of the cuccos would be determined by how many you attacked (one, two, or three), and there was stuff with giant cuccos and baby cuccos that I can't remember so well. Lots of cucco madness in those games.

Basically what Galefore said (minus OoT, I've never played it through ), and the cuckoo thing. I loved getting attacked by them. HA!

I also like it "When Cuccos attack!!". It's a small price to pay for abusing animals.

Also, I liked it when the Deku Princess beat her father up after rescuing her from the 1st dungeon in Majora's Mask.

OoT:
- When Adult Link reaches the forest temple and walks over to where Saria used to be, wondering what happened to her.

Majora:
- The last six hours of the final day. The music is so dreary, and the sky looks very sinister as well.

Wind Waker:
- When the King of Hyrule grants his powerful wish to give Link and Zelda a future, and to banish Hyrule Castle under the ocean for good.

Twilight:
- When the Kakariko Shaman, Barnes, and the children were trapped in the Shaman's hut, trying to figure out what to do about the shadow creatures outside.

Ooh, going by scare factor? When I was a kid, the shadow Temple and its music traumatized me. I got older, and conquered it on my own runthrough of OoT ages ago, but even to this day, the (decidedly unscary) Shadow Temple gives me effing goosebumps.
