It's totally worth it to do these when I get such wicked comments. ![]() Anyway, that one being done - are there any requests before I start another one? Castle Burmunica (the Undead's home, probably done in the form of a keep) is likely, since ML mentioned it. I'm not yet decided on that one, though. As you can all see, Crav has done an excellent job of interpreting the bone orchard. I'm off the hook now. ![]() And since I didn't get around to it before, here's that larger version of the Kokiri Fortress pic: http://revolver.arcticpalace.org/ty/...rtress1280.jpg Unfortunately, it's at about this size that the flaws of having to use a camera really start to show, with the colors being a bit more uneven and speckled than they are in person. Still, it shows a lot more detail in the image than the little one does. Last edited by Serial Miller; 11-12-2007 at 02:38 AM. | |

(Plus, here in Wisconsin, the phrase 'bone orchard' is slang for a graveyard--I thought it was a pretty good play on words.) No requests, here. I never expected an artistic response to HW--to see one spring up has been a treat, I can't even tell you. __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president Last edited by Booyakasha; 11-12-2007 at 03:13 AM. |

Well, your description is more than a suitable concept to proceed with the Bone Orchard. I was thinking it might be interspersed with the humongous skeletons of some strange beasts, but I didn't want to be too literal with it. I like your play and choice in words, it brings a lot to mind. Especially since I have a pretty much open book here, it's like an awesome map of concepts that I only have to glance over and elaborate upon. |

How about the Desert Colossus? |

I'm actually playing through it again right now, though. When I get to the Desert Colossus sometime in the next few days, I'll look it over and try to see what I can do with it. I only have a loose concept of what it even is right now, it's been so long since I played Ocarina all the way through. Wanna give me a quick description so I can stop scratching my head in some hopeless attempt to remember? |

She was sitting, legs crossed on her lap in a meditative position, with palms held flat and facing skyward. At least that is how I remember it. |

(In-game picture, meaning mega low-angle perspective. Still, better than a kick up the backside.) __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

It's a terrible picture, but it fills in a few details I forgot: she's supposedly the Goddess of the Sand, she's framed against the massive stone frame of the front of the Spirit Temple, and she may have two massive snakes wrapped around her waist. I remember snakes being thematic in Gerudo architecture, but I'm less clear on that. Looks like a snake may be a headdress, covering her hair. Oy. |

I haven't really had the time to sit down and do something like that again. I might get a start on it, and just do little bits here and there. Thanks for your comments, AS. I know you don't usually come in the Zelda forum. ![]() |
