I'm getting somewhat sick of Ganondorf. I mean, he's cool and all, but can there be a console Zelda without him being a "uber eval guy"? I mean, in TP, it would have been badass if Zant had captured him and was forcefully using his power.

If Zant was the final boss thing would have been much more interesting IMO. They screwed Zant over so bad at the end it isn't even funny. That's why I'm prejudice about Ganon even more.

I mean c'mon. That first scene where Zant calmly walks up to Zelda and says "Surrender or die?" It was a great scene that portrayed the darkness that shrouded Hyrule.

He worked pretty freaking hard to actually do stuff. He captures Hyrule, haunts 70% of Hyrule with twlight clouds, steals the twilight pieces from Midna, almost kills her, and revives a Bone Dragon for you to fight. And the he just magically acts nuts. I don't care if Ganon was using him as a puppet. The point is Ganon was such a wuss in TP until Zant was killed.

I'd totally say we could use new bosses in the Zelda series... provided that Nintendo could actually, you know, MAKE other good bosses...

Phantom Hourglass boss - What the hell?
Zant - Cool... up until his character assassination. Damn emo kids.
Vaati - Either cute munchkin or floaty eye thingy. I'm not sure which is worse.
Onox - A "final" boss without any character whatsoever. Awesome sauce.

I'd love to see a new antagonist in Zelda, possibly along with a different protagonist. There'd need to be a Link in it, but he could possibly play a Sheik-style role. It'd need to be in the TP half of the timeline split too, I'd say.

Actually, screw that, I'd love to see a game set entirely within the Twilight Realm - the magic and characters coming from that would be awesome.

Yeah I was hoping the twilight realm was just about as large as Hyrule itself in TP. I thought it would be sweet if you could ride one of the warthogs(or boars or whatever) and go around slashing away evil and whatnot in a brutal, evil realm.

The reason I claim 70% is because we don't really know if Gerudo Mesa was clouded away. Technically, I just assumed Laynaru or whatever was. Also I don't think he officially clouds Ordon. Otherwise you would only see spirits when you get the sword and shield.

He also does not cloud the field, which leads me to believe he only clouds about 50% of Hyrule.
