Pit would've succeeded in the assassination of the princess if he hadn't -- unfortunately -- tripped and fell down right before doing the deed. This left Pit screaming and cursing that he'd have gotten away with it if it weren't for those rascally kids and that dog... oh yeah, and the people at Nintendo for not giving him more games to gain experience and practise in.
