-Thou Shalt not quote the mod/host/whatever you want to call me. By this I mean Quoting your Role PM. Lest you be smited and modkilled. There are no excuses. Instead, paraphrase.
-Thou Shalt not edit without permission from the host. Failing to obey this can result in forfeiture of night-actions, silly post restrictions, and death.
-Thou shalt Vote by Bolding the Vote in this manner: Vote: Shane. You may unvote with Unvote, Or, to make it easier for me, Unvote: Shane. You may also FOS (finger of suspisicon) People, this does not actually do anything except say that you are suspicious of a person. Because it does not do anything, you may use it however the hell you want.
-If Thou are inactive for 2 RL days without telling me or telling someone to tell me thou shalt be prodded, and if thou does not post for another 2 RL days thou shalt be replaced. Thou shalt not play games with me by going inactive 3 days, posting and going inactive 3 days again, that just pisses me off.
- Thou shalt not make clauses such as "if i am lying i will make a youtube video of me eating cat turds" or encourage someone else to do the same. I realize none of you are that stupid, but it will happen in some game, eventually.
-Thou shalt not talk about the game out of this topic to people in the game, people out of the game, or dead people. Only exceptions are people who have this ability in their role.

-Everyone has a role of some sort. There are no vanilla/normal townspeople.
-I forgot to mention this, but this is a more traditional style and has no Crav-style items. On the other hand everyone has a role, so yeah.

Dawn of Day One.

The sun is rising in the Lost Woods. All the little Monsters are happily prancing around the clearing in the woods. With Mother Gohma to protect them, the Little monsters prance around and have fun without fear.

In fact, the only person they fear is the Horrible Slaughterer, Link, and with recent news this fear has become less and less irrational.

This is because there is news that Link is heading to this very spot!

To make things worse, EVIL has struck the forest, According to Gohma, who found an odd mask in woods. He said the mask was a sign that Evil was about to strike.

And so it has, as this very morning, you found Cravdraa, The Big Octo, dead in his pool!

The Monsters panic, there is only one way to root out the evil in your ranks... A good old fashion Lynch Mob.

Cravdraa, the Big Octo (Town aligned) has died!

Please note that Cravdraa is not and was never in this game, it is only for the story that he was included.

Day one has begun! With 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch.

OoC: Just for the record, I wanted to practice RPing this role... however, I wanted it to be a very neutral character. Because I don't want to infringe upon someone else's role, I'm probably going to RP something like a bunny. Or a cat. Just advising you all.

As far as what to do, I could easily FoS about half the world at this point (because none of you seem innocent enough just yet! of course! ), but at this point, I don't see any point in delaying the theatrics.

Also some speculation here. With 13 players, we certainly won't have more than 5 Mafia, and we'll at least have 3. Five will make this run really fast (we're going to have to be really accurate), and three sounds like too much give on our parts. I'd say four or five sounds reasonable.

Yes, RP is encouraged, even, as it helps to stir discussion.

I completely forgot to mention deadlines. The hard deadline for a day is 5 days, but if discussion stagnates (see last day or two in the last game) I will reduce it.

I'll do some RP here 'cause haven't tried it out yet.

He lumbered into the meeting hall. A hint of fear permeated the air inside, something he wasn't all that used to, personally. He took his seat, listening to the chatter all the while. It seemed some of the others wanted to wait for some more evidence before starting their investigations. Though patience was not one of his virtues, he thought that this might be a good time to let things play out a little before taking up arms.

Looking at the disaster that was Round 2's day 1, I have little doubts that finding a mafioso today would be long and taxing. A vote for abstain seems perfectly fine to me; however, I do not want to end the day yet, before people show up and post. Day 1 impressions could be important later on, when the status quo is ripped asunder (don't you love that word?). So I'll hold off on my vote for a while, but I'm very much in favor of an abstain. Although the terminology is strange, I guess this would work:

My opinion is that we should wait at LEAST a little to abstain. That way we can at least get SOME evidence before someone gets killed off.

Now, I'm going to RP as the deceased Hippie Pirate Aveil from last game, because I'm pretty dang certain she's not a role in this game. :P

Why did she live? None knew, including herself. The events of a small few days prior to this one had put her to rest, or so she thought...

She had been killed, of that she was certain. She had lived on as a poe, tied to the world by other matters, and feelings of curiosity attached to them.

However, all that had been wound up and ended... so she should have passed on.

Yet, somehow she was alive... Not just in soul and spirit, but in body too.

She had been RESURRECTED.

...now who in Din Hell would actually resurrect a maniacal, conscienced, just-plain-weird used-to-be-serial killer like herself?

Well, clearly SOMEONE had. And here she was again, stuck yet again with a bunch of other unfortunate fellows, trying to save her own skin... and the skin of others.

Except this time she was not herself... she was like a mask, a COVERING of someone else, someone completely different.

And considerably more sane.

(OoC: yeah, it turns out that my cello concert isn't till 4, so until then I can be here and play.)
