BECAUSE PRACTICALLY EVERY OTHER GAME IN THE SERIES HAS SUCH A THREAD. Anyway. Here, we can talk about all sorts of stuff about this kickass game... EXCEPT answers to the Who Wants to be a Millionaire, because if you do so CL will be angry. :P Soooo... Let's get a-talkin!! Personally, I think the Shadow Temple deserves recognition purely due to its ability to scare the PANTS off of me. A temple that can do that after about 4 or 5 playthroughs is a dang well-designed temple in my opinion. Blasted wallmasters. Also, I love the nice big overworld with all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore and hunt for Gold Skulltulas and to find mini-games and a bunch of other stuff. I liek 2 asplore. Of course, more recent games have taken this overworld to the next level, but OoT was a great start in this new aspect. Epona is adorable. I love riding around on her. And pwning Ingo's butt in the horse race never gets old. :3 (Neither does getting a pet cow in your treehouse. How the hell does that thing get up there, anyway? A catapult?) Also, I've been playing the Master Quest with my best friend for awhile now. We're stuck on the room before Dark Link. Confusion abounds. So... let us talk about OoT!! Because we can!!! |

Every item had a proper spot! Deku Sticks: C-left Bombs: C-left Hookshot: C-left Din's Fire: C-left Farore's Wind: C-left Bottles: Usually C-left(might whip out 3 at a time though) Sidequest Items/Masks: C-left Deku Nuts: C-down Bomchu: C-down Megaton Hammer: C-down Magic Beans: C-down Lens of Truth: C-down Boomerang: C-right Slingshot: C-right Bow and Arrow: C-right Fire/Ice/Light: C-right Ocarina: C-right Meh, what's the last item I'm missing? |

| Senior Member | Huh, I usually place my items in ALL OoT as: Left: Hook/Longshot Middle: Arrows Right: Ocarina or Hammer Oh, and I always wear the Zora Tunic, cuz it is awesome. Not as awesome as the armor in TP, no, but still cool. |

| Senior Member | I'm probably one of the few to think this, but I really wasn't impressed by OoT. The first two bosses are incredibly easy and boring to fight, as are most of their dungeons. Jabu-Jabu's belly was even worse, by far the most boring dungeon in the whole series, and if it wasn't for Barinade, I probably would have stopped playing right there. Furthermore, those first 10 or so hours feel like I completely wasted them, as the story is almost non-existent. While the second part was much better, the first part almost the entire reason that I liked TP, WW, aLttP and MC better than OoT. I'll post my Liked/Didn't Like list now: Like: The many Characters Ocarina The stealth part of Gerudo Fortress. (Like WW, I wish this was a bigger part of the game) The Golden Skulltula collecting. Swimming The trading sequence.(Even if it did glitch on me) Wolfos Stalfos Dampe and the graveyard easter eggs Did not like: The first part of the game Ruto Navi |

I still consider it and MM the weak links (a-hyuk hyuk hyuk) in the series, but I couldn't honestly claim to hate it nowadays. (Not OoT, anyway. Ah, but my demoniac hatred for MM is a rant for another occasion.) Likes-- Day turning to night (a novelty then, but I've rarely seen it better executed) Music (Forest Temple rules) Fishin' (especially catching the Loach) Bombchu Bowling Genuinely interesting and tricky puzzles in the dungeons Going all Hun and shooting people from horseback Stalfos, Wolfos, Iron Knuckles, Dark Link Badass Ganondorf/Ganon showdown Dislikes-- Some way-too-long cutscenes General lack of enemies in the overworld Combat difficulty lessened by Z-targeting Arsenal/first-aid kit/piggybank under every clump of grass Kind of 'meh' enemy design Bosses were a mixed bag. __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

I don't know. I just do. ![]() Ruto, I think, is actually pretty funny. Despite being very obnoxious. Hey, she makes a handy weight. :3 |

Somehow I knew this would come up the second Ace mentioned Ruto's 'hot'-ness (bismillah, by the way). __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Well, he took the Zora's "engagement ring". He also needed it to open up the Temple of Time, so it was a win-win deal with that. |
