This starts with ZG and why she didn't take ???'s place when she died early on. I know ZG didn't want to go out early and would gladly take the place of somebody else if she was able to. There must have been complications involving stuff that already happened in the game, then. Blake didn't take ???'s place either, although this could also be due to wanting to take a breather from the Mafia games. But what's leading me to believe this one is Mafia lies in the key thing that ZG knew which I think is what stopped her from taking the role...

ZG knew who Link was. And that's me.

Yep, somehow I managed to get the role of Link this game. However, there's something very important about the role this time. Link is not the standard killing machine that you're used to. I am indeed important, though... I can do other interesting things such talk with Ezlo. The rest of my abilities must remain secret for now to keep the Mafia guessing and scrambling.

So yeah, because ZG knew who Link was, if she inherited a Mafia spot it would give them a huge advantage. However, that still could mean ??? is Townie since that would also give an advantage (although a smaller one), but I wondered why ian was content with leaving the role the way it was for this long, quite inactive. Perhaps this is because he's a Townie with a mediocre action... or the Mafia was still able to use his actions to affect the town, since they usually decide in a group?

This theory needs to be ironed out more for me to say "this must be true", but hopefully it's going to lead the town in a good direction and not waste a day targeting me, for example. The whole reason I revealed this was so I could guarantee being a force to the end. I am extremely confident I will not be killed any time soon. If there is a doctor, protect somebody else, because I got this covered. Come on Mafia, you know you want to go after me now...

It seems like quite the gamble to go and vote based on these observations of mine at this point, though. Somebody should choose a target if we do want to get a lynch in.

Well, if we've only got 31 hours, we need to get moving.

S1xy, let's run with this, shall we?

It's been nagging me for quite some time why ZG wasn't invited back into the game. With Blake, I had a reasonable guess as to why because Mafia cannot take the place of Townies. However, Townies can theoretically take any spots... unless they know something that would put their new team at a disadvantage.

If ZeldaGirl knew the identity of Link, then she couldn't go into the Mafia because that'd be an unfair advantage. However, she also might not have been able to go to the Town... but for a much more subtle reason. She isn't impartial anymore, and that information should've died with her. Would it have been fair to allow her live after the grave in any circumstance with one confirmed player? Hard to say. I don't know how subtle Ian would be in that situation.

At any rate, let me see if I've got my glasses straight here. Are you suggesting that we vote Mushi Mo? We'd be going after one who, throughout both of his roles, has barely posted one bit, so it'd be a risk... if that's where you're heading with it.

My vote is right now fixed in place on Rayman, but I'll gladly change it if we move over to someone else, provided we've got a halfway decent case (of course

). The time for fingering people is over, guys. With the clock ticking down, I think it's time for votes. S1x, are you feeling confident enough to start a bandwagon on nothing, or should we take what's behind another door?

That's very adequately put, S1x. I have this nagging thread in my head that says Mushi is now a Townie, but it's too hard to say without any sort of communication.

Anyone else? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

My gut tells me to take out Rayman. If someone else's gut is saying something else (or is saying why we shouldn't take out Rayman), I'll all ears at this point. Let's make something happen.

Actually, this, combined with Wyborn's early suggestion to get someone lynched to fill the ??? role makes me pretty suspicious of that role in particular.

In thinking about RF, I'm not sure I would assume that the mafia knew who Blake was. The flip side of that, of course, is that he may be mafia who knew that Blake wasn't mafia and didn't want to look suspicious by coming out of nowhere like Mushi did to vote for someone who wasn't mafia.

My only concern is that RF is a cop or a tracker who knew Blake wasn't mafia that way but didn't want to out himself the way Chunky did the last game.

Granted, if Wyborn was and Daos is a mafioso, it could easily just been a ploy to eliminate a townie or narrow down the list of probable power roles.

Deku, you bring up a good point about Wyborn. He did act awfully suspicious on Day One. On the flip side, whoever died first (or second or third, in this case) would end up taking that spot anyway... so there'd be no need to hurry that along.

All Wyborn confessed about his role is that it'd be "potentially important," whatever that means.

It wasn't just day 1, really. It seemed to me like he was searching for power roles on day 2 as well. He started a search to see if anyone had been blocked. Trackers, Cops, and Vigs (and apparently whatever powers our Link has) would all know if they had been blocked in the night. A few other roles might know too, but it'd be a good place to start a hit list.

We were pretty near lynching him before. I think the only reason we stopped is because he stepped down from his role for being too busy, but that's a liability to his side no matter which side it is.
