When is there gonna be a new Zelda? - Page 2 - VGF

I really, really liked Majora for many reasons.

- MOON CRASHING DOWN ANYONE?? It seems that when Ganondorf takes over the world he kind of kidnaps the princess (although in a badass way) and takes over the world, but you don't really see any immediate need to kill him. In Majora's Mask you kinda need to get your flippin' rear in gear if you want to save the world. That moon isn't gonna go away without your help.

- POSSESSIOONNNN. Then again, there is always Puppet
Zelda in TP, but I'm talking about the fact that in order to carry out his evvilll plans he has to possess the crap out of some little skull kid. I dunno, but possessionnnn is very evil in my book.

...I dunno, I just really, REALLY like Majora as a villain. I haven't met Vaati and Zant was badass before the end.... and as for Bellum... well... er.... no.

Everyone had so many ideas on this topic but they all revolve around the same basic stuff. I liked Wind Waker and Hourglass cause they shook it up. The next one should too, maybe a final game making Wind Waker sort of a trilogy.

^ That would be badass, especially if... I dunno... the final bass is awesome.

I say this mostly because I think Tetra is a cool character. Then again, they made an OoT sequel without shiek so you never know.

I think Shiek needs to return. Tetra did, so why not??

The thing I liked about Majora is that he was a very "ominous" villain. You never found out who Majora was exactly, where it came from, what it is, but all you knew was that it was evil, to the extent of being apocalyptic. Ganondorf we all know who he is and where he's from. He's from the Gerudos, became a wizard, blah blah blah. With Majora there was that touch of the unknown, almost alien. And I think they performed it very well in the game.
Another thing is you don't actually fight THE Majora. It's all about Majora's MASK, not the actual being. So there's even more mystery as to the being who had possessed such an evil mask.

I always figured that 'Majora' was simply the name given to the mask and its cursed powers. Or maybe Majora is the evil that possesses the mask. I never really thought of the fact that Majora could be another being entirely; I just figured Majora was the entity of evil that kind of resided in the mask and used it as a medium to control the physical world. *shrug*

Here's a sweet idea: a zelda game with vaati,the villain in link's awakening,majora, and Ganondorf, and Zant as the villains. Though I think this idea is cooler: a game with both Majora and Ganondorf as the villains.
at the end, majora posseses Ganondorf. or, they end up killing each other.
we just need something original in zelda.

OR maybe the mask salesman is named Majora and he was once posessed by it.
