When the story starts out, a statue of the Hero of Time is being set up in Hyrule Castle Town, and a festival to celebrate its coming is planned. However, many things go wrong during the festival. While the Royal Family and most of the guards are at the festival, a thief (that's my character ) sneaks into the castle and steals the Ocarina of Time. Someone else (Mersheti) destroys the statue with some bombchus and is nearly killed for it. The next day, the king announces that another statue is under construction (that's the one you see in the castle in tWW). Meanwhile, the thief uses the Ocarina of Time to release Ganon from the Sacred Realm, destroying the Temple of Time in the process. Later that night, some rebels set Castle Town on fire. With the drawbridge up, the townsfolk have nowhere to go but to the castle. Just as they are being let inside the castle, Ganon's army shows up. That's pretty much where we are now. |

So I might as well give you that: There's a castle servant named Elizabeth Matakau who has gained a lot of respect from servants and nobles alike. Her daughter, Carlotta, was engaged to Justitio Ratchett, a half-brother of Queen Zelda who was exiled at about four or five years of age. The night before their wedding, Justitio left her alone and pregnant. She gave birth to Teresina Ratchett and went on with her life to become a rich enterpreneur of a clothing company. Teresina, all the while, has been in love with the Crown Prince of Hyrule, Zelda's son -- she doesn't know, of course, that the Prince is her cousin. She goes to great lengths to get a glimpse of him until she ends up hiding in the castle from her mother, where she meets her aunt Katherine, Justitio's twin sister. And then the castle gets overrun by refugees, and she escapes to the stables where she meets the Prince face-to-face. Before they can really establish a conversation, they are interrupted by Carlotta, Lokuta, and Justitio (Who, as it turns out, has been employed as a castle guard for some time). Justitio asks to talk with Teresina alone. He reveals to her the family secret -- that he is the true King of Hyrule and Teresina is the Crown Princess. When Teresina refuses to believe him, Justitio's ugly side is revealed, and he almost kills her, before she is rescued by some deranged castle cook and Katherine's friends. |

She recognized the leaking ceiling of the castle dungeons, where she had been hours before. She and those who were with her -- Katherine and a few of the musicians -- were far from the noise of the crowds in the halls and courtyards above. Teresina could hardly feel the wound on her head. But the violent memory carried enough sting to compensate. TERESINA: ...Is it...true? BARITONE: Is what true? SYBIL: What your father told you? Lady Ratchett, would you like to tell her? KATHERINE: I would. Yes, it is true. You are who your father said you are. TERESINA: But I don't like the name Amara. SYBIL: Don't insult your grandmother. KATHERINE: Juss loved her. It's no wonder he gave you her name. TERESINA: Did you know he was here all along? SYBIL: Your aunt was serious when she told you you needed to return home no later than dawn. KATHERINE: He's been employed here as a soldier since he was your age. TERESINA: And he's been here all my life? KATHERINE: In and out, yes. You've seen your father. He is a free man. He has always been that way. Even his superiors are afraid to punish him for disobedience. He has no place with a wife, and certainly no place with children. TERESINA: What are you saying? SYBIL: What do you think she's saying? TERESINA: That you took him away from my mother? KATHERINE: Do you want him as your father? After he almost killed you? TERESINA: You could have driven my mother crazy. KATHERINE: Crazy enough to become the richest untitled woman in the town. She would never have had that kind of freedom had she been married to Justitio Ratchett. She'd be mending and sewing for him, not for customers. Instead of living in a mansion, she'd be living in a tiny room which she'd been locked in since her wedding night. And as for you, Teresina, you would have been growing up in some godforsaken orphanage if you were lucky, and if not, no sooner would you have been born than you'd be thrown down the well. More than anything, Justitio wanted a son. TERESINA: How do you know? SYBIL: Because she lived with him. Alone. KATHERINE: I never held my daughter. SYBIL: Teresina, who do you think you're defending? TERESINA: My blood. SYBIL: And it's running down your forehead again. Taurus, get me another bandage. BARITONE: Aye. The cloaked man drew out a knife. Finally got up close to Mersheti. The cloaked man punched him in the face, knocking him down. Mersheti got prepared for another blow. He was worried that fighting the cloaked man might make his intestines fall out. He saw a dead man near him and tore a cloth off his shirt. He wrapped it around the wound on his stomach. The cloaked man ran up towards Mersheti and stabbed him in the arm. Blood gushed out. The man punched Mersheti in the face again, this time the blow drew blood. For a few more minutes the cloaked man stabbed, punched, and sliced all over Mersheti's body. By this time Mersheti was too weak to fight. The cloaked man drew out a long sword and pointed it at Mersheti's chest. "Any last words?" said the man. He pulled his arm back, ready to stab Mersheti in the heart, when someone came behind him and hit him on top of the the head. The blow knocked the cloaked man down. The man was just about to get up when Esel pointed a sword at his chest. Esel looked at him coldly and asked: "Why do you attack this boy?" |

The blood was everywhere. He was sinking in a pool entirely made of blood! He looked around fearfully, watching pale dead bodies float like driftwood. His first thought was that he had descended into the underworld, his own floating amidst the bodies of the damned. He began to choke. Suddenly, a fist grabbed hold of his collar and dragged him out. He blinked the blood out of his eyes and coughed up what he had swallowed. When he looked again at the pool of blood, he saw that it was really just the moat... the water mixed with blood. He looked at the one who dragged him out. It was the soldier, whom he had been quarrling with in the battlement before the explosion. The soldier had discarded his armor, which now lay at the bottom of the moat. Daevo sputtered, "Why..." But before he could finish, the soldier grabbed him again and dragged him around the castle, to the secluded area where Daevo had been loitering before the attack. The soldier set him against the trunk of a tree, stripped a piece of cloth off his arm, and wrapped it so tightly around Daevo's left arm that he lost all feeling in it. Not that he had any feeling in his arm besides pain, anyway. The soldier crouched down, and looked Daevo in the face. "Now, you listen to me," he said. "That little stunt you pulled back there may have saved your life. If you were any farther from the window, you would have been instantly crushed. However, do anything like that again and you'll get yourself killed. You've lost a lot of blood. You're too weak to fight, and probably too weak to run. In fact, your arm's so bad now that you'll definitely need it amputated." Daevo didn't argue; he hadn't the strength. The soldier got up, and began looking for a back door to the castle. "What if they find me here?" Daevo mumbled. "They won't," the soldier said. "At least, not until everyone else is dead. Now look, I'm going to go get as many people as I can out here without bringing attention from the moblins. Then we'll head that way." He pointed towards Death Mountain, in the distance. The soldier found a back door and slipped inside the castle. Daevo whispered, "Good luck," and passed out. [ July 01, 2004, 02:56 PM: Message edited by: Yoshimaster Sees All, Knows All ] |

When the cloud dissapered it revealed Farnjo the demon. "You know us demons have a thirst for blood, but the blood in the moat tasted horrible so I just thought I kill the boy and take his blood." Farnjo laughed evily. ESEL: "Why do you have to feed on him? Why can't you take one of the dead men's blood?" FARNJO: "Fresh blood tastes a whole lot better." ESEL: "Then find someone else's fresh blood." FARNJO: "There are only two living people here right now. I'd prefer the weaker one." ESEL: "Well you can't have him. Take me instead." MERSHETI: "No! I won't let you do it!" ESEL: "Quiet you fool! You are young yet and you don't have as bad of a reputation." MERSHETI: "Oh and blowing up a statue of a hero and breaking out of prison gives me a good reputation?" ESEL: "You didn't kill 3/4ths of the Royal Family did you? Besides once the word gets out that I gave the Triforce of Power back to Ganondorf...." MERSHETI: "What?! How could you? I thought I had it!" ESEL: "I was the one that gave it to you and I had the power to take it back. Besides I needed the money" MERSHETI: "Many people are gonna die because of you and all you care about is money?! You are sick person." FARNJO: "Kid if you don't shut up I'm going to kill you too!" Esel threw a bag of money at Mersheti's feet. ESEL: "When peace returns you use that money. There still 2 days left until the floodwaters from the dam are here. I'd say the water has covered most of Hyrule Field by now. Go to Death Mountain!" MERSHETI: "But..." Farnjo had claws come out of his hands. He scratched Esel deeply in the stomach. Esel collapsed upon the ground. ESEL: "Fly you fool!" OOC: That is the longest post I made in this topic. I feel proud. [ July 01, 2004, 05:12 PM: Message edited by: Lava64/Kurt Cobain ] |

The only people left in the stable were the lifeless body of Justitio and the enormous kitchenmaid, Genevieve. "Which way did they go?" Carlotta asked Genevieve frantically. "MORE PEPPER!" she shouted, wiping the filthy pots she held on her soiled apron, not making any difference at all. "No, which way did...she...Where's my daughter?!" Carlotta shouted in frustration. "MORE PEPPER!" the mammoth of a woman shouted, banging the pots togeather as if she hadn't heard a word Carlotta had said. "Ms. Carlotta, please, let's just go, this isn't any use..." Lokuta pleaded. Carlotta sighed. "You're right...they've probably taken her to the dungeons, that'll be the quietest place...and Lokuta, just call me Carlotta," she added, rushing to the entryway into the castle. "But...Carlotta...what about Juss? Is he going to be okay?" Lokuta asked quietly, looking back at the limp body. Carlotta paused for a moment and looked back. Then, gaze hardening, she turned and kept walking. "Good riddance if he isn't," she said coldly. Casting an anxious glance back at Juss, Lokuta turned and followed as well. ---------------------------- Come to a divided world, torn between powers; the Humans, the Wild, and the Myths. He ran away from the spot where Farnjo was killing Esel, Mersheti's only living relative. It was hard for Mersheti to except the fact that his father and grandfather both died on the same day. Suddenly Mersheti became angry. He was angry at the dam that flooded his homeland and is now about to flood Hyrule. He was angry at the group of rebels that set fire to the town, killing his father. He was angry at the demon that killed his grandfather who he had only known for a short time. But most of all he was angry at the Prince. If the Prince wouldn't have put him in prison none of this would have never happen. Many lives could have been saved... Mersheti pulled out his sword and sat on top of a hill. He waited till the monsters completely destroyed the castle before he would go looking for the Prince. He sat on the hill for an hour before the establishment collapsed. With their work complete the creatures left. Mersheti jumped off the hill and went towards the ruins of the castle. There was dead soldiers everywhere. But none of them was the Prince. For 2 hours he looked through the rubble hopeing to find the Prince. He was nowhere to be found. Mersheti was exhausted and went into the stables for a breather. When he opened the door, to his suprise he saw the Prince staring at him. The Prince tried to stand up, but Mersheti knocked him down. He pointed the sword at the Prince's neck and said: "Any last words your highness?" [ July 08, 2004, 09:05 PM: Message edited by: ^Lava64, Knight of the Ku Klux Klan ] |

What looked like a pair of mourners, clothed in black and bent over practically hyperventilating, entered the cell shortly after the baritone had arrived with the fresh bandages. Moments passed and it became clear that the blackness was soot, and that the mourners were the Zora who had accompanied Teresina's mother, and Carlotta herself. That was when the news reached the dungeon. Apparently, Carlotta and Lokuta had just entered the dungeon when the earthquake occured, the ceilings collapsed and the doorway leading out of the dungeon was reduced to a slit no human being could possibly pass through. "Needless to say...we're trapped?" was Sybil's response. "Trapped," Carlotta nodded. She placed a hand on Teresina's shoulder. "We wouldn't be here had it not been for you." |

He was killed when Ganondorf's army invaded and destroyed Hyrule Castle Town. Jeremiah the second learned early on that his father was a hero, standing up against impossible odds when all others fled. He was determined to be just like him. Against his mother's wishes, he enlisted in the army at the earliest enlistment age. But because of his apparent inability to get better with the bow, and because of his poor leadership skills, he had barely gone up in rank. AN AMBITION OF YOURS: To become a great war hero like his father. |
