Oh freakin' Din! Has anyone else seen this? - VGF

I don't know exactly where but somewhere in WW's Dragon Roost dungeoun, in small corridor with a high ceiling, there's what clearly looks like a humanoid figure painted on the wall with a huge red mark at the center of it's chest. It wasn't until AFTER the Wind Waker came out that there was news that Shigeru Miyamoto was experiencing heart troubles. A mysterious omen in one of his own video games? Or a conspiracy within the company? Or maybe I'm just reading too much into ambigous blotches on a wall. Still, it's kinda creepy. I noticed it the first time I played WW. It gave me the creeps then. But it wasn't until now that I made the connection.

It may also be a throw back to Majoras Mask, but I doubt it.

Actually I think MM was our first clue that Shiggy was having heart troubles. I think he's been having these problems for a while now and just has weird ways of letting us know before going public about it.

Miyamoto confirmed at E3 that he isn't having heart troubles.

Heart problems typically don't just go away like that - they were just never there in the first place. It's the same as that rumor that used to circulate every few months that he wouldn't be able to work on games anymore because he was crippled in a skiing accident.

Have I ever mentioned my medical knowlege is very limited? I failed Health class because I can't do CPR to save my life. Or anyone else's for that matter.

Yeah, rumors tend to get wild like that. Sure glad he confirmed it was false. I wonder what tht weird symbol meant?

I was referring to the heart shape of the Majora's Mask, nothing in particular to any of the events in the game. It was a reponse to Chompmaster's comment about the weird figure in Dragon's Roost being a throwback to Majora's Mask.
