NGF - Tales of Symphonia Review - VGF

Figured I'd post this here too, since you guys have been Tales crazy lately.

I'd say it's a fair review, 'Toch.

I would say that I hype it a lot not because it's one of the very few RPGs on a Nintendo console but rather that it is a dang good game. [img]smile.gif[/img]

mmm Hyped? i never heard of this game cept from e3 and i only noticed it briefly. the only reason i originally got it was cause i didn't get the katana i wanted from Otakon (darn people closed the dealer's room early), i was having the post otakon blues, and i saw a cool cel-shaded game that i had heard of from e3 while i was killing time at gamestop. What i bought was a masterpiece. While i will admit I haven't played the final fantasy series (it is soo odd how i have missed every game cept CC.... when they were on the SNES and nes i didn't know them and i never owned a ps or ps2) so i probably don't have any right to make praises on a RPG *slight sarcasm* this game blows , in my book, most rpg's away. the only flaws i saw were these

1. mediocre (sp?) music
2. lack of fun minigames.

But despite those facts the game just took the spot of my favorite RPG (it took it from the Golden Sun and Golden sun :the lost age games)
