Zelda rip off on Comedy Central !! - VGF

The new cartoon show called " Drawn Together " is one of comedy central's new tv programs that mocks many of today's super hero's and famous video game icons. Among them is a character modeled after our own beloved Link !!

The character's name is Xandir and is the epitome of what every Zelda Flammer thinks of the title game's hero !

Here's a link with the info !! Just thought some of you guys would get a kick out of it.

Well he's not really based off Link. He's based off more of those guys that look like girls in RPGs. The governater would call them "Girly Men". [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Uhh actually it was noted that he was taken from the Link character in Zelda, when they did the interview on Comedy Central with the creators of the show. They also mentioned other characters that they drew inspiration from such as Picachu (sp??) and sponge bob square pants

In the end it's still a better mockery of Link than the CD-I Version of Link. Have any of you ever seen the "Lipstick" Link version in the two zelda games for the CD-I called "Chamelon's Whip" and the "Faces of Evil"

If anyone here watches Filter, you could see "Happy Link" moving and talking. The horror. It was in an episode respectfully titled "Worst Games EVER!!!" (at least that's how I titled it)

The look is a gay Link, but all the jokes I've seen on the commercials about him seem more RPG character-like.

I actually watched the show last night and for those of you still doubting that its based off of Link...Xandir takes a freaking flute and plays a melody that summons a tornado to take him to go save his girlfriend... *nuff said*

And GOD he's Gay !!!
