If you have difficulty loading the video, Gamespot has a lo-res version of it: mms://a659.m.akastream.net/7/659/5372/1/gamespot.download.akamai.com/5372/netshow/gslive/2005/03/lozgctr_gdc05_1394_700.wmv The full news article at Nintendo, which includes Revolution info and DS WI-FI info, can be found http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?...84f&page=other To be quite honest, I cried tears of joy. Some of the camera angles definitely seem interesting, but I'm too happy to discuss them right now. *sniffles* [ March 10, 2005, 03:14 PM: Message edited by: SilverWind ] |

I actually remembered my password! It's been so looooong... So! Yes! I'd been checking IGN like every 5 minutes for DS news earlier today, then someone IMs me about "OMG DS internetblahdebloo!!!"... so I go to IGN, having the Gamecube one bookmarked... "ZELDA". ...Zelda?! I had NO idea they were showing this until I saw it. I was like... at a loss for words. Or any coherent ones, as my roommate might tell you. My conclusion? It needs to be Christmas. Eeeeeeeeeeee! ^_^ I posted this movie at another message board, and everyone was like, "Oh, a new Zelda. That's nice." And I say whaaaaat? So it's back to the good old Zelda forum. Y'know, I agree with you Silvy... some of those angles are... very odd. But I have a feeling the person playing MADE them odd to show off stuff. I can't really image running away from that giant Ghoma thing towards the camera where you can't see where you're going, but it's the best way to show the Ghoma (and Link's faaaace! XD!) Aah, everything is just... the way Link moooves, the enemies, the foooorest... I'm ADDICTED to that forest! And... oh gosh... What's with the wolf at the end, though? And... ... Beeee... no more "bottom-of-the-well" experiences.... |

In case the Nintendo site goes down again, the video is hosted on TGA. We live in amazing times, my friends. ![]() "There are some who call me... Link?" ![]() "Carpe Gaium Domesticum!" I hope at least some of that is gameplay. I have a feeling this game will surpass OoT. It looks amazing. [ March 10, 2005, 08:18 PM: Message edited by: Marth ] |

That means I won't be compelled to buy a GC to play this game. It also implies SSB and Mario Kart Online. I was under the impression that most of it was supposed to be gameplay, just from strange camera angles. It's not impossible to take those videos if you have a controllable camera. |

You can see Link's head turn as he focuses a bit too much inward, his eyes turning towards the Gohma just as Link did in Wind Waker when he saw something; that's not cutscene stuff. ![]() "There are some who call me...
