Either Sheik is female like Zelda, or when changing into Sheik, Zelda changed into a male. The transformation *is* magical and involves changing of eyecolour, skin tone and hair colour... so really, any belief is valid. The true individual is still a female, though, so... Sheik is a she, when it comes down to it. |

Soon I will stop laughing, and my life wll more onward, but I will look back often, and with great fondness, on this period of laughter. And I will think to myself, "I laughed on that day. How I laughed!" |

Of course I know who Sheik really is, but... ... and, of course, Ruto's an idiot... That video was weird. Why is it taking place in the forest instead of the Temple of Time? ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

Dude, Shiek is NOT Impa's brother. And most of us HAVE played OoT. Multiple times, even. [SPOILERS] Around the end, before Ganondorf's Castle, Shiek reveals the he(okay, SHE) is indeed Princess Zelda. Zelda = Girl. [/SPOILERS] If anything, she more than likely used her magic to create an illusion that made her look more....man like. | ||

I dont see how ANY of you thought this was one shred of humour in it. Its insanely lame garbage. Also, Links pal, I HAVE played Ocarina of Time and Shiek is a girl because Princess Zelda IS Sheik. Im trusting everybody has actually PLAYED enough to know this. And finnaly, Links Pal, work on your grammar skills my man. Same for the person who labeled the topic. |

Not one of the funniest things that I've seen, but I still found it to be pretty funny. And if you want to delude yourself on visions of Sheik being a boy, then that's fine. I like the idea that the manga presents (as TML has already mentioned). |

In OoT, Zelda reveals to Link that she had to dress up as a Sheika to avoid detection from Ganon (although it didnt last to long). Therefore we know that Sheik is simply the name that Zelda calls herself when she is dressed up. Nintendo power has confirmed this an insane amount of times and Shieks trophy on SSBM clearly says "she". Are you saying that Nintendo is lying? and again, work on that grammar Quote:

There's no definitively correct answer on this. It could simply be a costume change; it could be an actual physical change, or it could be a full emotional change as well. There's no evidence either way. It personally comes down to which one you wish to believe. ^ First off, SSB:M was made by HAL, not Nintendo, so that's hardly a Nintendo lying issue. However, even beyond that issue, grammatically, "she" could simply be referring to the fact that we know that Sheik really is Zelda in some way, and if you treat the two characters as one, even if Sheik is male, "she" is a grammatically acceptable way of referring to the two of them together. Beyond that, all you know is that Zelda is Sheik in some fashion; there is no definitive proof since we don't actually get to see Sheik take off his/her suit, and let's face it, that won't be in an E- or T-rated game. ![]() "There are some who call me...
