Boo is Boo, and like a boo he's composed of hot air and just likes playing tricks and laughing at others. You are a dear for backing up women, though. ^_^...*pinches Galefore* >_> |

And Silvie, you should know by now that I don't laugh at others half as much as I laugh at myself. |

And just because there is a Shekiah doesn't mean that the game takes place before OoT. Sure, Impa was one of the few remaining Sheikahs, but that doesn't translate into 'only one left'. OoT is very vague in the telling of what happened to the Shekiahs. All we get is stuff like "They say that Princess Zelda's nanny is actually one of the Sheikah, who many thought had died out." or "They are the Sheikah...the shadows of the Hylians. They say they swore allegiance to the King of Hyrule and guarded the Royal Family. But with the long peace, no one has seen a Sheikah around here for a long time." No one knows what happened to them for sure, which could just mean that they left Hyrule.

Pay no attention to the ghost behind the curtain. I don't think that's necessarily a sign of a fight that you'll have with someone; it could be someone leading you on a la Sheik in Ocarina. There are a lot of possibilities at this point, and while speculation is really cool, I wouldn't get your hearts set on any one concept yet! ![]() "There are some who call me... | ... ****! Just remembered that that symbol is on the cards in Hellsing (and the necklace and the ep12/24 ending screens). I don't think it's specific to Zelda. Might be a magic symbol in general.

Second, the Gerudo Thieves are all women, except for Ganondorf. They are capable of fighting, and even imprisoned four strong carpenters in OoT. Also, Impa is a trained bodyguard, and she is female. Third, some fantasy series have characters that use swords, referred to as Holy Swords or Enchanted Blades, and they are used to channel magical energy for spells. If this Zelda is a Sage, or is the one from OoT, then I'm sure that it what the sword will be used for. It looks too weak to stand up to physical combat. Fourth, the eye symbols of Agahnim and Vaati are not the same as the Sheikah eye symbol. Observe. The Sheikah symbol has the three points on top. The sharp oval makes the eye and the top and bottom of the circle that makes up the pupil touches the top and bottom of the eye. The sides curl upward a little. Also the loop at the bottom of the eye extends downward. Agahnim's eye is like the Sheikah symbol, only it has lashes above and below, and no loop. Vaati's eye varies. Sometimes the pupil and retina are at the bottom of the eye, and it looks unique. Sometimes it is in the middle and does not touch the top or bottom of the eye. In which case the lashes make the three points at the top and the curls on the sides. There is no loop at the bottom however. When you compare the symbol on Impa's armor to the symbol on the man in black's robe, it is clear that it is the Sheikah symbol. |

Why does Zelda even need a sword? Assuming she can even lift it, she'll just flail it about ineffectually like a feather duster, until she gets too tired from the exertion of doing anything strenuous and collapses, sobbing, on the floor, while her kidnappers laugh. (And it isn't because women can't fight [although they can't]; it's because Zelda is a royal, and royals don't understand this concept of 'work'. Really, think about it--what physical activity will Zelda have had to master in her life, aside from 'walking erect' and 'chewing', perhaps even the all-too-tricky 'using silverware without accidentally poking oneself in the eye with a fork'?) |

| Hello, VGF. I want to play a game... | The eye represents the "Eye of Truth", the shiekah artifact found in the well by young link. An eye isn't a magic symbol, it's a phsycic one, representing the "Eye" to see things others can't, like seeing through walls, or predicting the future. It isn't neccisarily a Zelda thing, but notice the shiekah eye has a handle lika a magnifying glass. It's definately a shiekah on the cover of EGM. |

And also, aren't women supposed to be outstanding when they do things that men do, including fighting? For me they are.

Otherwise, yes. Wonderful things. The game still strikes me as bland. It'll take more to convince me that this a good Zelda game. |

You are also assuming that the Zelda in this new game is like the ones we have seen in past games. There are indeed different Zeldas, so this Zelda may be a new one that has been trained to protect herself. Quote:
