I have some thoughts.

1. Link and Wolf-link have earrings on opposite ears. This indicates that either a) the drawing is a mirror image, b) both Link's ears are pierced now (the ponce), or c) Link's earring magically shifts ears for some reason when he changes form. Or d), that's not actually an earring at all, but, rather, some kind of growth. (Ewww.)
2. Wolf-link's image has, as its background, the same sort of quasi-Aztec carving that WW's Tower of the Gods had. Perhaps the Tower and the Twilight Realm have some sort of ooby-dooby mystical connection.
3. 'Psychonauts' is awesome. (Off-topic, certainly, but it needed to be said.)

Both of Link's ears are pierced. If you watch the trailer, Link (as a wolf) turns towards the camera at one point and he has earrings in both ears.
