I regret the fact that I don't have so much time online as required to participate in the HW, right now. I have my own sort of contribution to make, though. Hope you guys like it:

The Ruined Tower.

Worn from battle and the decay of ages, this structure was once a great sign of the Hylian people's prosperity.

Done mostly with brush and wide-tip markers. I had to use my camera, since the pad was much too large to scan (and I don't really have a scanner, anyway). First landscape I've drawn in years.

Looks pretty awesome. If you're drawing more, the landscapes I would like to see are the castles that aren't canonical, like the Kokiri Fortress and Castle Burmunica.

I typed out a lengthy response to all of you a few days ago, only to have the server timeout and lose it. Haven't had the time until now to get back on and reply.

Thanks a ton to those who posted, it's very encouraging to see people appreciating something I've done. You guys rock.

Yes, I'm planning on doing some more pictures of landscapes, the Kokiri Fortress (requests are awesome) is in the planning process. The rough concept is down in pencil, I just need to buy some more markers to do the colors I want - I just got payed today, so that'll happen very soon.

Also, if anyone has suggestions on execution, they're all welcome. If you want to give me artistic feedback, that's welcome as well - provided it's constructive.

In days long past, the children of the forest known as the Kokiri were numerous. Here it was that they amassed to fight for the ancient lords of the wood.

^ Its only context is that it's a location in the Hyrulian War. Boo was awesome enough to envision the names for locations, and put them together appropriately. I felt a bit inspired, and took to it with the few ideas I'd had. This last time, I actually had something in mind, so I went to the supplies store and dropped $70 on the colors I needed. >_>
