Did anyone else notice this? ( TP SPOILERS,)

Spoiler Below
When I was in Hyrule Caslte's western wing, I turned on senses. I noticed 5-6 ghosts dressed like soldiers surrounding a picture. Thinking it was like the stone guards in MC, I attempted to listen to one of them. I went up to it and nothing happened, so I decided to look at the face. The face looks exactly like Dark Link's face in the cutscene that the snake spirit shows you. Now, that video along with the Gerudo Desert intro video made it look like the banished group were the Twili. ( And possibly the Gerudo. ) But, these ghosts look exactly like the group shown in the cutscene except for their clothes. This could just have shown that Nintendo was lazy and did not want to design new ghosts, except for one thing. The Dark Link's in the cutscene stuck out one arm to attack Link. If you go inside the ring of ghosts they all enter that exact position.

Any thoughts on what this could be?

Wow... you are very observant! I didn't even notice that... the TP world is so HUGE AND VAST compared to previous games that I was just overwhelmed

Usually I LOVE looking for little easter eggs like this, but in TP I was too taken aback to see it... sorry!

For those who did not see it:

Once inside the main buliding of Hyrule Caslte, go to the lowest room. ( Has a Iron Knuckle in it. ) After solving the puzzle there, turn right from the treasure chest. If you went to the right room, you will see pictures on the walls. Go to the door at the end of the hall and switch on senses. The ghosts should be visible from there.

shoot a bomb arrow at the picture(there's a switch behind it). If its the same thing I'm talking about it opens up a door to the other part of Hyrule Castle. I'm not sure how much use it is to explore that area, don't really remember.

Edit: OOOOOHH... helps if I read the rest of the post

I ran to go tell my sister, but she didn't seem very interested...

Yeah I saw that, it was pretty cool. I don't remember what you got for it. I'm guessing rupees since there are no Poe Spirits or Heart Pieces in Hyrule Castle.

It's just an alternate route through the castle, I believe.

No, they are in front of the switch. You don't get anything for it.

^^ Maybe, but why would they take the time to put them there?

EDIT: I think I may have found the ghosts somewhere esle. Go to Snowpeak Ruins and look at the pictures. One of them has a black spot for a face. ( Yeah, I know that the other ghosts also have red eyes, but the pictures really blurry, so they may be in there. )

EDIT 2 WARNING: WW spoilers
Spoiler Below
In the 30 hours and 15 minutes it took me to beat TP, I was never rained on( Excpet when it was for the story, like Hyrule Caslte) . When I played for 1 hour and 22 minutes today, I got rained on three times. Even though WW and TP supposedly take place in different universes, it seems a little like the Great Flood mentioned in WW. Could this have something to do with a sequel?

Don't really need the tags, but as a precaution:

Spoiler Below

Me and my friend had sorta thought TP would connect to Wind Waker. He thought that Link would die in TP, which would be interesting(of course sad). And if they didn't put Ganon in this game it they could have had Ganon emerge and flood the world. As the Wind Waker legend read, that dark covered the land and the hero did not return(though it can be related to Termina Link).
But regardless, Ganon would be alive and ready to tear the world apart once more. But, he was stabbed and is dead again. So I don't know. Then again I guess Nintendo doesn't really link their legends into other games.

^ Ever read the multiple timelines theory? WW and TP occur in completely different planes of existence.

Also IAN that was random, trust me.

Spoiler Below

Sakurai confirmed the timeline split. TP takes place as if Link had never allowed Ganondorf into the Sacred Realm. WW takes place in the 'real' timeline where GD is locked in during the Sacred Realm, a few other games happen, then he escapes and the land is flooded.
