Ah...memories

Hey everyone, it's been while, hasn't it? A lot of you don't know me, since it's been a good 5 years since I've been here. I used to be a regular here at this Zelda forum from around 2000 - 2003. I've seen a few familiar faces, like Darunia, TML, Boo, Wyborn, and Shyguy. How ya'll doin? Does anyone know what happened to the other old timers like ForestGirl, Pigeon, Mallard, JMRO, Toadking, DBZFreak, Silverwind, Tiberio, Flames, Halan, and (dare I mention) Mogdude and Fairyboy? (Did I break a taboo?

) Did I forget anyone? Yes, of course, I'm sure I did. Please forgive me, as it has been a long, long time.

I was just cruising around online when something told me (out of nowhere) to visit the Grand Adventures. I saw that TML closed the site, and decided to check out this old forum where I practically lived for a while. I saw the Hyrulian War topics, and experienced a rush of nostalgia. I made some good friends at this forum, have some good memories, and I regret leaving like I did. There was just too much going on for me at the time, just too much stress, (and I was only about 15 years old.) Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say "hi" to anyone who remembers me, see how you're doing, and see what's happened since the last time I talked to you. Also, can anyone fill me in on any of the other old timers and what's happened with them? I know that they probably just gradually left like I did (life takes people in different directions), but I'm still curious as to what they're up to. Geez, this must be what a high school reunion feels like.

(As for the Fairyboy thing... when i was last around he had already been gone for quite some time, but he was eventually supposed to make this "triumphant return." I'm assuming that never happened and the whole thing just got buried...?)

SilverWind's still around. Haven't seen most of the others in ages, to be honest. Mallard and JMRO followed Hyrulian War to the dedicated HW forum that sprang up a few years back--haven't heard from either one since maybe '05. As far as everyone else goes, I couldn't say.

Several of those I see over IM or LiveJournal. I do talk to FG every once in a while meself...

And personally, I left VGF and came back only recently. I just don't mark such occurrences with official topics concerning that.

It has been forever and a day though. Nice to see you again though.

I didn't want to make an "official announcement topic" but I just thought it'd be a way to see if anyone I knew before was still around, since not everyone checks Hyrulian War...

Eh, I don't know you either. You're a bit before I started lurking around here, so meh. Otherwise, a lot of those folk are still around here somewhere. I hope you have fun running through fields of nostalgia, it's a great feeling to come home.

Yep, yep. I remember you. I occationally see JMRO and some of the other old crew stop in at the new HW forum, but it's usually just a rare visit.

Good to see an old face around here, welcome back KK!

I see a few of those folk lurking around VGF, some of them more than lurk, and I've even gotten to hang out with a couple in person. FairyBoy was someone I totally forgot about though. That kid may or may not have been crazy/made up, I don't think he's made an appearance around these parts unless I'm vastly mistaken. As for the specific on the others, it's been pretty well covered by everyone else so I'll leave it at that. I have the vaguest suspicion that Pigeon is at West Point right now, but I'm only about 20 percent sure on that. Just something I remember hearing like 2-3 years ago. Good to see you man!

Fairy Boy existed. He just hasn't been around for years and years--last I remember seeing him was either when I was at Madison or shortly after (aka 2000-2002--don't know for sure).
