Triforce Trouble - original Zelda

Got a Wii not too long ago and downloaded the original Legend of Zelda. Following a map and walkthrough I got off line at the Zelda website, but I am having trouble when it comes to level 9. I am getting message that I do not have all my triforce pieces? I backtracked through the levels, but cannot tell which triforce I am missing. Is there a triforce map that someone filled in as the triforce was filling for each level?

^ Well, I never skipped dungeons in that game, so I don't personally know about this message you're getting.

So there's obviously 8 levels before level 9. It's hard to check with triforce piece(s) you are missing so I would recommend going back through all 8 previous levels and head straight to the boss room to check which piece you forgot to pick up.

There should be a golden triangle in your item menu. All of it should be filled in if you have all the pieces. Is it?

Click on it for a bigger view. On page 26 you can see a numbered representation of the arrangement of each Triforce piece. Just look for the number of the pieces that are missing on your subscreen, that will tell you which level's Triforce piece you're missing.
