Wow, what an unbalanced fight

Holy crap. Here I was boasting about how TP was easy and all. Well I started a 3-heart minimum item quest (Ordon Sword only, no shield, no abilities, no potions/fairies either).

So I'm in the Temple of Time and I tell you, freaking Dark Nut? I thought he would be cake. Now tearing through his armor is apparently more difficult than it seems without the roll attack and the helm splitter! So you have to backflip away from his attacks and crap which is fine, and eventually I get down to the 'unarmored' Darknut. Easy part, yay!

NOT!!

This is twice as difficult! His freaking agility is amazing, it makes up for his second sword's does half damage(1/2 heart) plus more. If you try to jump attack him and backflip, he returns the favor with a nice stab EVERY freaking time.

Hmm, well it's time to try and exploit a weakness on unarmored darknut. Pieces for now.

Gonna be interesting seeing how this translates into fighting Ganondorf.

He's actually immune to the Ordon Sword. At least phase 4 is. I imagine the 2nd and 3rd are as well.

But I think I cracked down on the method:

Dark Nut(Armored):
All you have to do is get in relative range of his sword. Do the occasional backflip if you think he's going to attack you. Once he moves his sword, backflip out of the way immediately. If you dodge, jump attack him and deal your damage asap. After dealing your damage, backflip out a few more times and continue.

Dark Nut(Unarmored):
This phase is similar to the first step, except trickier. He is very agile with his longsword so you have to keep much farther distance than phase 1. If you can do one backflip without getting caught in his attack(s) then you have to retaliate immediately.

If he blocks your attacks at this stage, you can consider yourself toast. He parries your attack with a thrust I would say every single time no matter which way you evade.

I'm wondering if I have to fight two of em in Hyrule Castle though... X.X

Wait, what do you mean second run? I beat it once in my other game. Is there a much more difficult version after you beat it once?

Lol, I was curious what it'd be like to fight 3 Dark Nuts, but I doubt I can survive nor have the patience to get that far. X.X

Yeah, the enemies multiply - 4 darknuts in the last room etc
