Gender: Posts: 29,118 Thanks: 2,535 Thanked 1,823 Times in 1,008 Posts | Timelines Disclaimer: People who argue Timelines do it for fun. The Zelda Timeline in particular is so much fun to argue because of the mystery and obscurity surrounding it. Things are left open for debate, things are fun to debate. The games might not even be related at all...but that's just no fun. So, here goes. Me and my brother came up with this timeline on a long, boring car ride. We may have messed things up (especially times between, those were kinda last-minute), so bear with us. It was all from memory, but we had a lot of fun talking about it anyway. A lot of theories came up from this, but I'm too tired to explain all of them right now. Questions, comments, your own timelines...whatever. This thread is all discussion, mang. EDIT: FIRST CHANGE! I like LA better after the Oracles than where I have it. Thanks, X-3. forgive my MSPaint skills. I wrote it down, but red pen doesn't scan well and I don't have any other utensils present. Also, the squiggly lines represent generation gaps...more squiggles = more time. Four Swords has a question mark because we're not sure if it's canon. That's why, at the beginning of Wind Waker, it says "...But the hero never came." There was no hero. He was in a totally different dimension. The only thing keeping hope alive was the story of old, which is why the tradition on Outset Island became so important. so I don't think there can be any games between OoT and WW on the Adult Timeline. Also, I don't think it's possible for OoS and OoA to "link the timelines," as it says. People say that because of the similar beginnings, but I just think the beginnings are like that to give them a connection. I believe that as soon as Link got back from Holodrum, the Triforce sent him straight to Labyrinna. Plus, Beast Ganon is totally killed off in that timeline thanks to OoT...that's why WW Dorf had the Puppet Ganon. Which also takes out all games on the Adult Timeline between OoT and WW. Ganondorf and Ganon, while being the same mind, are somehow, someway, separate. OoT, the first appearance of The Dorf, proves that they are the same. So, Adult Link kills Ganon in the "Adult Timeline." Stabbed in the face, blood everywhere, cool stuff. Beast Ganon can no longer return to that timeline...because he's dead. However, Ganondorf was merely banished to the Sacred Realm and could easily return, which is what happened between OoT and WW. King of Hyrule floods the world, blah blah, it's a big mess. Okay, so, TP. Both Ganon and Dorf are still around in that timeline, since YL never killed Ganon. Dorf breaks back from the sacred realm, TP happens. Now, this time, you kill Ganondorf at the end of the game, but Ganon is merely banished to the Sacred Realm (which later becomes LttP's Dark World). Notice that in every game I have after TP, The Dorf is long gone and only remembered in legends (a la LttP). Make more sense now? (also I think Aganimh is Vaati)

And the reason that I think OoS and OoA comes after TP is because of Koume and Kotake. They tried to resurrect Dorf, but all they could manage to do was pull back Ganon from the Sacred Realm. |

Miyamoto himself said that it was the first game in the timeline when it came out, automatically placing it before FSA, LttP, LoZ, and AoL. Plus, how do you explain Ganondorf? |

I completely agree, then again by that logic 4 Swords and aLttP could be the same game.

I'm seeing Aganimh as a random ass who follows Ganon blindly. Though, when you kill him, Ganon DOES emerge from his corpse. I think...But still, I'm doubting it's Vaati. Vaati has already turned into the eyeball of doom by the time LttP should take place, right? |

Or, atleast I think. YouTube - Zelda link to the past Boss fight Agahnim (2 time) 96 That's a video of what happens...it looks like Ganon was controlling him, and leaves after teh body is pushed through too much. |

But look: LoZ, LttP, AoL all came out before OoT. When they were in existence, Shiggy stated that OoT came out before them. Kinda hard to dispute that. |
