The Final Zelda Game

It's gotta happen sometime.

I Don't know about all of you, I supported the Single Timeline for quite a long while that all the games fit somewhere on it and that there is no altered Universes.

I looked at all the Facts behind the Split Timeline Theory and it does make more sense. More people support the Split Timeline too.

What would Nintendo do For the Final game since eventually The Game Series has to have an ending game.

Also if you guys are asking If this game is already out, I am pretty sure it does not exist yet. I think this because the way OoT ended was Unique in the way it fitted in the timeline. Making it pretty obvious there was a timeline split. There is not another game that has something like that.

I wonder if The Split Timeline is going to come back together and end on one game. If It did I wonder how they would do it Logically.

someone wanna move this to the Timelines topic?

A lot of people argue that the split timeline comes back together with OoS and OoA, but I don't get that.

I don't really agree that "all game series have to have a final game." Most game series are like an OG.

I doubt that it will have a planned ending. They're just gonna keep cranking them out until they get cancelled for one reason or another, but they're not going to make a game to end it specifically for that purpose.

I never said that; I just said they probably wouldn't intentionally create a game to end the game series. They'll keep making them with no intent of quitting until the market stops or they get fired or die or something, and then the games will just stop. However, if it's still doing fine, Nintendo's not going to purposely end one of its biggest series.

Adventure of Link?

They have no end in sight. They will keep making Zeldas until something bad happens. Yeah, what CL said.

The only (good) reason why Nintendo I think would intentionally create an ending for the Zelda series is if they knew in advance they were getting out of the games business entirely.

I don't see that happening for a long time to come.

They could have a final game for OOT, and then just keep going without another game that takes place in the OOT storyline.

^Probably not going to happen. There's been Zeldas without Miyamoto involved, I think. Some, atleast.

They aren't going to stop any time soon - The Legend of Zelda franchise is one of Nintendo's most popular and best selling.

If you guys will have noticed They don't realese the Zelda games in order. I mean Final as in the order of the games.

I don't mean final as in the last Zelda game Nintendo will make.

Our bad. I guess our reading comprehension is too good.

Well, in that regard, Nintendo has never released an official timeline, ever. So having an "official last game" in the timeline would require them to make an official timeline, which just isn't cool, IMO.

^^In that case, Adventure of Link. For now, at least.

*Cue sudden debate of timelines*

Not to mention that, if there was an official timeline, the people would bemoan it and ignore it anyway. Because, you know, we've already been there, saw that, bought the T-shirt.

What's sad is that I got an idea for the latest game in the series, and how I would publicize it.

I'm sad. I know.

Well, not a full one. They have stated that Ocarina of Time DOES split the timeline, and that Minish Cap is the start of the timeline overall. It's pretty obvious that the Oracle series was meant to be the end, though. But that wasn't "official".

If they created a Final game they wouldn't have to realese an offical timeline because We still don't know where all the other games fit.

Minish Cap has been the The Standard for the First Zelda game Among a Majority of Timeline Debaters.

I say we Should have a Final Game to the Zelda Series.
