I just love everything he represents, the Dark side of Link the bad things of Link, the inner struggle of being Stronger, Better more powerful then everyone else, and then being the Hero of Time, the savior of Hyrule. Then again I guess I could just be reading to deep into it. |

So thus it's Ganon. Edit: Actually disregarding that one part of the game, I'm going to go with Zant since he was otherwise badass. |

I like him, but he's getting kinda old...HEY GUYZ I'M BACK Vaati: I haven't played any game he's in. He seems a bit...lesser to be honest. Majora's Mask: My fav. Mysterious...cruel...leaves a lot of space open for fanfics. Dark Link: The start of Nintendo's "dark version of hero" fetish... Skull Kid: lol wut Zant: Really cool with the, "bitch imma steal your dark powerz". But then he went all, "OH I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KIIIIIIIING". So, Majora. And Skull Kid was no villain. He was misguided. Like Princess Toadstooool... |

He accomplished more as a villain than most, and he had a fraction of their power. He turned the royal family itself out on the people, and captured every single descendant of the seven wisemen. Zelda herself had to telepathically plead for help to Link to stop herself from vanishing without any trace. He made Link a wanted criminal for kidnapping the Princess, and god knows what else. I'd definitely say he was the better villain. |

He IS badass. However, I still say Majora's Mask because, even with Agahnim, it seems the most PURE EVIL of anyone. I don't know. It's not even human, it's practically an entity.... of pure evil and a want for destruction. |

If you want to argue about what a villain has accomplished, then think about it: Ganondorf (who is Ganon, just in human form) actually succeeded in conquering Hyrule in OoT. He was sittin' pretty until Link came from the past to mess things up for him. And also, why do you think that all the other villains keep trying to bring him back? It's because he's so awesome. (Now, let's follow that sloppy train of logic down to its inevit.....) Therefore: Ganon, FTW! |

Subtlety wins the day when considering that Agahnim conquered Hyrule beyond all of Ganondorf's ability(in the hearts of the people), and without having to destroy it. He took the princess, he took the "sages", he took all of them and imprisoned them in the Dark World. |

Link had the Triforce of Courage; if Ganon had had it, then he would have already won, or at least been about to win. And when you think about it, Ganon had to manage with only one part of the Triforce in the beginning; he had to get the Triforce of Wisdom from Zelda somehow. Also, it's unfair to say that Ganon was only able to do what he did because of the power of the Triforce. In that case, Agahnim was only able to do what he did because of his sorcery. Strip that away and you've got nothing. And it's also unfair to elevate Agahnim simply due to his methods. So he was able to turn the people against each other. From all appearances, Ganon wasn't exactly aiming for subtlety when he turned Hyrule into a barren wasteland and transformed the residents of Hyrule town into the walking dead. Ganon's aim did not seem to be to rule the land of Hyrule while it was intact and prosperous; his plans were to destroy everything he hated (which was just about everything) and transform Hyrule to his own liking. |
