If I had to score them, I'd give them about the same overall. |

MM is a deeper game IMO, the plot is darker and the Goron/Zora/Deku thing allows alot of new Puzzles. Not to mention it's hard to find a truly useless NPC, Every blob of Pixels has a life and a story and a schedule. In all honesty...I may prefer MM more then I remember... *Goes to play again* |

In terms of mechanics, MM did a pretty sweet job, and on plot, it delved into a realm not typical of the series, which was quite nice since OoT did feel a little like a LttP ripoff. But, on that same leg, OoT could be played at a much more relaxed pace than MM. The 3 day system meant you were constantly watching to ensure you didn't run out of time and destroy the Earth in a ball of fire. OoT allowed you to take things slowly whenever, because there was no time limit unless you were doing a specific task. And OoT's system wasn't really flawed itself, it wasn't like playing the game was a total chore. I find myself actually getting well into OoT more than I can with MM. But, even if I can't get into MM all that well, I appreciate the levels it went to. It's a sound game, regardless of my attention span. |

Majora's Mask had better characters and cut-scenes, but that's not why I play video games. OoT was much more accessible, and the gameplay was more engrossing. It simply comes down to this: I didn't like the design of the dungeons. I did like the addition of the Bomber's Notebook, but it wasn't enough to make up for the dungeons. |

I like to take enough time to look through and explore every nook and cranny....also I was dissapointed at how you could only be Omni Link for like the last 3 seconds of the game as that was how long it took me to kill majora with the mask on. |

I know there are a lot of people that don't, but I find it to be one of my favorite Zelda games. It took everything good about OoT and made it better. Unfortunately, it also didn't fix OoT's flaws...which is why I prefer TP to both. And Link's Awakening the best of all. |

In OoT, Ganondorf was like 'k guys I am evil but you don't really see anything happening so just save the world when you have time' In MM it's like HOLY CRAP MOON FALLING SAVE WORLD RUN RUN RUN. Also the plot was unique, I loved Majora as a villain, and I adored the sidequesting and AWESOME character development. MM>>>>OoT. I still love OoT to pieces though |

However, I will go ahead and admit that, as time went on and my tastes developed, I found the story of MM more compelling than the one in OoT. Yet, there are two factors that stubbornly poke their head up and in my way and as such send my vote hurtling towards OoT: 1) Dungeons. I ****ing hate Snowhead, Woodfall is boring, Great Bay Temple was moderately entertaining but sort of bland, and as great as Stone Tower Temple was, it doesn't make up for it. This is a point that I have always found crucial, and I'm glad Bomby brought it up. 2) Nostalgia. OoT was one of the first video games I was ever fully immersed in. I loved it from the first PRESS START. I will admit that my tastes have changed, sure, and replays of the game have convinced me that I prefer WW and TP. However, in terms of N64 Zeldas, more memories were made on OoT than in MM. Also, Ganondorf is the coolest villain ever in my eyes. Old favorites never die. I prefer MM's characters, locales (Termina is much more interesting than OoT's Hyrule, any day, and Clock Town > Market), and plot, absolutely. But it just wasn't as good a game as OoT. |

Stone Tower is awesome, and the others are good enough. I suppose it might be slightly weaker in that area then in OOT maybe. |

I have no idea why I hate that place so much. I wish I could just skip the damn thing, as awesome as Goht is. |

That changed, and I've loved it over Ocarina of Time for that and so many options. I admit that the Great Bay Temple was hard as hell if you have terrible timing like me, but other than that, was still fun. That boss was rediculous, though(even as Fierce Deity Link). Still, I prefer MM over OoT any day, unless I'm feeling lazy, which is understand sometimes. |

Like srsly, try killing Grog without using the platform and without using the Zora electric shield. THERE'S a challenge. >_> |
