Nah, not really. His flat-out screaming is bad enough. Well... In certain games. I'm much happier not hearing him talk, and just imagining what he'd likely say.

Where's the power of imagination these days?

Imaaaagination....

There were two instances where Link talked in AoL. "There's a mirror under this table" and "I think I can fit through this chimney", I believe.

That said, I wouldn't mind an end to the miming. It's kind of ridiculous when Link just looks at someone and suddenly they understand everything that happened. (read: PH opening)

Yes, but no voice acting.

Speech bubble only.

If it's as good as the Zelda mangas, then sure. An "Escuse me, Princess" in one of his lines would actually be sweet.(well, the show was pretty funny)

I'd rather not. I wouldn't get super mad, but I don't think I'd be down with it.

I prefer his sword to do that talking. Especially with that badassed heavy sound the tempered Master Sword makes in LttP. SWISH. SLICE.

Personally, I think Zelda is still too action driven for heavy voice acting.

Besides, there's a reason why, as a series, it consistently outsells cutscene-fests like Final Fantasy.

It was destroyed by games like WarioWare and shows like Sesame street or Code Geass. (seriously, how the hell can ANYONE keep up with that anime?!)

^^I don't think sales have much to do with Link's silence.

^I found R1 easy to follow. Haven't watched R2.

I think they should try out text for him, if it goes well, add minimal voice acting.

Having Link talk is like having Mario talk.

It would just mess up a good thing.

^ Mario's Time Machine's dialougue given to Mario was decent, and he had a little voice acting in Sunshine. Executed properly and in a very minimal, humorous fashion, it could be acceptable.

Link has a very good chance of making it work compared to Mario.

Tidus laughs like a sh*thead, I'll tell you that for free.

I don't think Link especially needs to talk. It wouldn't ruin the series for me if he did, though. (Assuming they hired good voice actors. Or awesome over-the-top insane voice actors, like in 'Dynasty/Samurai Warriors'.)
