OOT help needed!

Well, I've been trying to beat OOT. I have a guide, but some things about it still make it hard. For one thing, it keeps trying to distract me with side-quests and things to learn songs that I'm not even sure if I need them or not, which could get me stuck.

I beat Dodongo's Cavern, met the Great Fairy of Mountain, and went to the Great Fairy at Hyrule Castle and got Din's Fire. So, what do I do now? My two guides are both sending me off on different things, so I'm a little confused.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

No. I've tried to make it through that part with Zora's River and the Cucco, though. Failed at that.

Speaking of OoT help: are there any jars or other smashable things in the Fire temple that give you bombs? I ran out of bombs and I can’t find any, I don't want to have to leave to get more.

How do I get across the Zora river? There's one little place that I can't reach, even jumping with a cucco.

I believe you need every song in the game except the Song of the Sun, and even that is useful.

Right now I'm in Jabu-Jabu's belly. Super-fun dungeon, but hard. Ruto is such a brat...

So now I got the blue tunic, what am I supposed to do with it? Everything in the Zora place is frozen. I even tried jumping off the waterfall diving place with the megaton hammer to smash the ice with the, diddn't work and lost me some health.

Go back to the area where Jabu Jabu was. Hop around on the ice until you make it into a cave on the left side (I think)

I still want to know how I'm supposed to go swimming in ice. You can't use the blu tunic as a kid.

^ Wait... if you're still a kid, there shouldn't be any ice. The freezing of the Zora's Domain happens when you're an adult.
