First Look At New Zelda Game’s Concept Art | Kotaku Australia I thought about where that girl was familiar from - and I finally recognised it as the Faerie Queen from Wind Waker. A 'mature' game set in the drowned world? |

This thing definitely doesn't have four arms and clearly has legs. Maybe they're going into fairy stages or something with this one? Also, did that blue pendant thing come up in another game? Looks familiar. |

| Senior Member | Maybe this will help. This is the closest similarity I could find to that fairy. The face is reminiscent of Wind Waker Cel Shading though. | ||

Then he'll only appeal to, you know, straight women. |

Shigeru Miyamoto: Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword. IGN: Has he lost his Master Sword? Shigeru Miyamoto: [Laughing] I just wanted to make sure that you understand we are making it. That's all I'm going to say on that subject. At first I dismissed all of this as just being like the Færie Queen from Wind Waker, but then I started to see all of the uncanny coincidences:
Were it not for Miyamoto's hint, I would be... extremely sceptical. But given this, it's hard to ignore. |
