Twilight Princess Redeads

O_O *shudders* OMGosh... they scare the bejeepers out of me. After all this time of being terrified of the OoT Redeads, I thought I could handle them... but the way they move and scream makes me scream. #^_^# Luckily, AS is not afraid of them... *happy sigh*

I am such a faerie at times...

BUT I am curious as to what enemies have made you afraid in the Zelda games (not necessarily just TP)?

Not Zelda, but that giant Zinger that chases you through the beehive in DKC 2 used to scare the living hell out of me.

The re-deads from OoC, but not anymore.

I used to have a fobia of zombies when I was younger. (some mental scarring thing apparently) Its mostly the reason I tried to stay away from the Resident Evil games.

Now, I just don't care.

Skulltulas scary?

Someone needs to meet a friend of mine, a member by the name of Wallmaster. Anybody seen him?

And it's okay, Hjots, you just need a hug. I know just the guy to do it.

^ Mostly because upon spotting any redead, her first reaction is to squeal. I can hear her from my own bedroom (the other side of the house):

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

It's easy to figure out what she's playing, at least. The shorter squeals can be for any game where she's killed some poor something-or-other.

I always say you can't call yourself a Zelda fan until something from the games scares you.
Dead Hand from OoT was pretty freaky. So were the ReDeads.
The ones in TP, to me were more of a "HOLYCRAPWHEREDIDTHATCOMEFROM" kind of scary. While the ReDeads in MM lost a lot of their menace once they began dancing. Then there's this guy:

Freaky.

As I've said in other threads, the enemy that freaked me out the most (if you can call it an enemy) is the Moon from Majora's Mask. I tried to avoid looking up at the sky most of the time while playing the game.

The first time I saw the Moon crash into the town was heart poundingly scary/awesome.

I have Arachnophobia. The thought of a spider descending from a ceiling and killing him scare me.

Giant hands are scary, but I find that I'm usually too fast for them.
...in 3D games, at least...

Majora's Mask freaked me out the whole way through. It was just that kind of game.

But yes, Redeads are on the top of my list - they actually make my heart pound when I try to navigate past them. :-\

Haha, HotD squeals when she plays OoT? That's funny.

The Redeads kinda freak me out a little but meh.

When I get really scared I get violent. I was playing Resident Evil 1 and got scared when a zombie was around he corner and grabbed me. I jumped up in anger, clenching my jaw shut, yelling a muffled string of threats and curse words while clenching my fist. "MOTHER ****ER DON'T ****ING TOUCH ME **** **** DAMN ****."

I didn't think playing a PSP game could scare me but I was wrong apparently.

Generally, the redeads in OOT bothered me so much that I waited until 7 years later to do the adult portion of OOT. Ironically that corresponded with the timeline in the game itself.

Though redeads don't bother me anymore, especially since I got the giant sword and was capable of mercilessly skewering them.

The redeads in TP I didn't really recognize, and they had a much harder time against TP Link, who could just morph into a wolf and tear them apart. Sorta takes the scariness away.

The Wallmasters were annoying and freaky, I never did like the Forest Temple.. in fact, I found it to be freakier than the SHADOW TEMPLE, even though the latter is just hordes of undead monsters.

Nothing else, really. OOT sort of hit the uncanny valley.
