Normally when you have to listen to some dumb person talking in OoT, you can just press B to skip through to the end. You can do this MOST of the time with Kaepora Gaebora, but I don't think you can ever do it when Navi's explaining everything to you. And while it is annoying that Kaepora Gaebora has "Yes" as the default answer to "HOO HOO! DO YOU WANT ME TO REPEAT ALL THAT ****?", at least you only have to deal with him about half a dozen times. Navi follows you around all game, and while you don't have to listen to her long, winding explanations of the game's mechanics after about the time you become an adult, you still have to hear "HEY!" every five minutes. They both suck, but I have to say Navi's more annoying. What's your opinion? |

Navi stayed in one game total(despite having some new versions of her pop up), but Kaepora decided to appear in multiple games, making him more of a pain in the ear. |

He was kind of riddle-like. The statues were a better hint mechanism, too, and didn't immediately interrupt your game. |

I found Navi to be kinda cute for some reason, to be honest. Then again, I didn't mind the owl all that much, either, since I took his appearances to be a sign that I was progressing in the game. |

Just a little. |

With Navi, you can either take 2 seconds to see what she has to say or just ignore her. But KG will stop you and force you into a conversation that takes HOURS (give or take). |

Gender: Posts: 29,118 Thanks: 2,535 Thanked 1,823 Times in 1,008 Posts | I never had to deal with Navi all that much, and her shouting at me didn't bother me. However, her un-turn-off-able hints were extremely annoying, a lot more annoying than anybody ever really mentions about her. But I have to go with Kaepora on this one (granted we're talking about OoT here), just because of all the bad memories of hitting A rapidly through his dialogue, then accidentally answering "yes" to "Do you want me to repeat this?", and then shouting in agony. |
