I always like surprises, and horror movies don't really scare me. Games have more of an effect, but that's because you're kind of there to experience it. ^^ I'd love to see that implemented from Super Mario 64, but they did that beforehand in BS Legend of Zelda, except it was the whole overworld/underworld(in terms of second game) affected. Hmm. |

OoT in particular for the Zelda franchise; the first temple as Adult Link was a bit much for me. |

Now that I replay them though, the creepiness factor adds to epic. I mean, the temples are places of evil, crawling with monsters, generally in long-since abandoned ruins of a past place of worship. Shouldn't they be creepy? A non-creepy temple just wouldn't be as cool. |

IMO time has been way overdone in the Zelda series, and I'd rather see a focus on making the more straightforward parts of the game fun again. Themes like that have always just been gimmicky to me in part, although I'm loathe to use that word on VGF after people seem to have plucked it out of my vocabulary to use in description of anything hoaky. |

Then again, I never minded the time theme in the first place. It made for the most awesome NPCs and opportunities ever in MM. |
