See, grammar is important, kids. It makes you look dumb if you're bad at it! |

Why would I want to shoot a weapon with shorter range, less accuracy, and longer loading times than a normal bow? Sure, it's easier to learn to use, but that hasn't exactly been a barrier to Link in the past. (lol pun) Other than that I wouldn't mind seeing most of those things in a game. Improved character interaction implies an end to not being able to say anything beyond yes/no, which is a change I'd love to see in all of Nintendo's games. |

At least, that's the first thing that comes to mind. The problem with classic bows being that they are very difficult to use for a novice. Crossbows were invented as sort of a transitional weapon between the firearm and the bow, and was likely capitalized on in a way that allowed guardsmen who were not otherwise qualified bowmen to use it. It is also much more effective in close quarters, where a standard bow would be ineffective. Keep in mind, I'm no expert and this is just my evaluation of why a crossbow could be more appropriate for Link. It's unlikely that early crossbows were nearly so effective as they could've been, in most instances. |

Also, I kind of liked the 'dungeon-field-dungeon' thing, especially [as in NOT oot] when the field is fun and exciting to explore. I mean, I even enjoyed OoT's, just because I got to ride around on my awesome horse. Also, it was a means of putting off the next dungeon, which is always fun. |

Like, slingshot for speed [and probably the shooting gallery thing, which they always have], and then your crossbow for pwning teh monstrarz with epic damage. Maybe? |
