What do the shopkeepers do with your money, buy the same goods from one another? Do they have a hunting hobby that they maintain, as Rupees are apparently arrows? The caves with the bushes on top - how do the bushes grow above them with nothing to grow in? Does the soil burn up as well? Is it a hidden, enriched wooden hatch they're growing on? Or do their roots spread out real wide? When he's in the cave with the bush for a door that has to be set aflame to be removed, how does he get out? Doesn't he need to eat? |

The roots are still in the soil surrounding it, even though there is a hole directly beneath the plant itself. Clearly, however, the Old Man is a sorcerer, and he is probably actually in his magical tower, astral projecting to those caves, etc. |

The old men, the old women and the bearded men are all mass-produced robots. That's why they all look the same and only have limited speech. The monsters and bosses are all robots, too, and the reason they respawn is because they're still being manufactured faster than they can be destroyed. Ganon is the scientist who, after spending his life creating docile robots of old men and women, went mad and created robots of rock-spitting octopi and jumping spiders to unleash upon mankind. And Hyrule? IT WAS EARTH. |

There are at least two different Old Men. ![]() What's the deal? Are they related, or do they just share the same fashion sense? |

So I take it the lower one has elfin ears? Does that mean there are Hylians and Hyrulians both alive in LoZ? |

Or maybe they got burned off along with his hair. My friend and I have an extremely likely and valid theory that Goron and Zora males swallow their female spouses and hold them in a separate stomach until mating season. Ruto just doesn't have a spouse yet, and that's why she is undevoured. |
