Did you ever track down the community if it still exists? I never did find that guy again.

Nope as far as i know the last time he was seen was on one of the hw rememberance topics here. It's still ongoing believe it or not at hyrulianwar.com at a real slow pace (somewhere in its 30s) btw Crav do you remember your own history on there? I'm doing info for their wiki and would put up anything that can be found.

I never really did anything too much worth mentioning.
Biggest contribution I ever had was making the grand list of Zelda Enemies, which contained pretty much every enemy to ever appear in a zelda game at the time. It gave them a general description and power rating, along with pictures of their various sprites and artwork from the various games each had been in.

It's purpose was to somewhat standardize EXP rewards for Role players, along with giving players inspiration to fight more enemies than the same standard 10 or so over and over again. It think is was later adapted for summons and pets and mounts and stuff too.
No clue if it still exists in any form. I know they dramaticly cut it back later and eliminated a lot of the monsters they felt were too similar or didn't fit the feel of the later games, which was too bad IMO since it kinda defeated the point of a getting people to be more creative.

Oi. New Zelda games aren't really stylistically cohesive, anyway. What's up with that?

Besides, how many of the new enemies aren't just "green imp man with pointy thing." I think the influence of the LotR movies kind of ruined the creative force behind the standard enemy designs in WW and TP.

That's an odd accusation. :/

Also, I don't know if you want to add me to any "wiki". I was only a roleplayer who continued a disturbing trend of eating soldiers during a game. >_>

Seems to me they forgot their roots and made some other game in place of the one you guys originally played.

Crav thats good but i meant like what you did ingame, general, or whatever, i know you were in 11 since i remember that war clearly (its all i think about sometimes O_o)

Neo what war were you in i'd add you too.

Metal the best period was when it was on this board (00-01) before moving away it started getting ridiculously complex.

Exactly... so while it has lasted ten years, it seems to be more some complex gibberish they made up rather than what you started. Unfortunately.

That...seems like quite the harsh statement to say, MM.

Happy birthday, HW. I, uh, participated as a Freelancer briefly one time recently-ish.

Well im pretty sure you were there before me since i joined in 11, do you remember any big thing that happened in the wars before that one? I wonder what the Battle of the Lost Woods was about since they made a vet medal of it later on.

Some of the early wars that still survive are here

I was the Kokiri general in the last one on this board. That was a fun time, I loved making up the story for it.
