Twinrova doesn't look enough like an old brown version of a great fairy.

Other than that I am definitely enjoying this.

That Odolwa art is pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of a grasshopper.

Wow. Not a single Lynel in the whole dern lineup. Apparently IGN is some hardcore mamma-jammas.

Honestly I don't see how AI's Blind the Thief didn't make it on here.

^ The editor tapped some folks he knew to throw it together with minimal effort on his part, from what I can tell.

I did my Blind the Thief pic in part because there wasn't much done on the subject, though, I'll admit. It comes up fifth in a google image search

If I were trying to put together an interesting article about Zelda bosses, it wouldn't include images that have been up as long as that and are top hits on google, personally. If it's any consolation, mine ranks much higher in the search than the Blind pic featured on IGN. I don't even see theirs on the first page.

BTW, while checking some sites linked through a search for Blind the Thief, I found this hilariously bad picture by an apparently very talented artist:

On that same note I think my personal beef anyways with things like that are the fact that it seems 90% or so of the fan art is based on OoT or newer. Not saying there isn't some good art from those games just that I think the older games are neglected (of course I always say that).

^ How many games keep trying to remake Ocarina of Time's style?

Yeah, outside of ALttP, the other earlier games get heavily neglected. Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, and Link's Awakening are some of the best classics, and they all were challenging in their own right. None of those three were even close to easy.

Ocarina of Time(unless you're using the GameCube Controller with a sensitive control stick) was easy as hell. Pretty much the only games that could be hard(since Link's Awakening) are Majora's Mask(time limit, actual good challenges, not fake difficulty as well), the Oracle games(which are sometimes unforgiving), and Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks if you're not good with using the controls.(but otherwise they're pretty easy)

I think Spirit Tracks had some good puzzles towards the end of the game. They made me think a bit more than I usually do in Zelda.

I'm not really surprised that OoT has a lot of representation in this.

I want to know why they missed a Lynel and listed Twinrova twice.

Also, the "Original in-game screenshot" sometimes have them from games they didn't originate from. Unless they meant that it's an original type of screen shot, and not from a released beta screens that Nintendo/etc. churn out?(damn you, non-indicative titles!)

Because this is the state of video game journalism these days.

Oh hey, we need more people coming to our website to generate links. But we are also completely lazy bums and don't actually have any real talent to write anything meaningful. OH NOES WHAT WILL WE DO!? Oh wait, I know! Let's just steal credit a whole bunch of people who've ALREADY done a lot of work and just slap something together. Easy money, and zero hours of work needed to get it done.

Now it's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a beer.

^ You. Sir. Are a god. Amongst women. Wait.

Anyway, yeah, too true. I'd say I can't stand laziness at all, but then I couldn't stand myself. Hey, I loved all the Bosses/Enemies, even the terribly cheap ones.(Eagle Knights, anyone?) So give some credit where it's due.

Er-hem, moving on. >_>
